Ok, traditional scrapping, gal. I have to say, your two pages tempt me to get out my stash and do some Halloween pages WITHOUT using Photoshop Elements! I have tons of Halloween papers and stamps! Maybe I will...

Hi everyone. Just wanted you to know that I am going to be taking over the Variety Challenge and will be posting a new challenge every other week on Wednesdays. (I posted this week's challenge a day late because I was in bed with stomach flu yesterday). I plan to make these challenges something you can use with pretty much any type of photos, so you won't have to have specifically themed photos to participate. The new challenge is up, so please check out Variety Challenge 177 .

I hope I'll be home in time to do some crafting!! I'm not sure I will get to scrapbook, but I will be hauling out the actual paper and ink to make some card samples to decide on a couple of workshop projects for a workshop (one of the 1 or 2 I ever do each year, LOL) next Saturday!

Hello! How are things going now that the wedding is over and it's off tourist season where you are?

I'm around but working on DH's business stuff. He moved his shop at the end of October and things have been SO wonky! Lost our email cause we moved out of the area and so we are working without internet OR phone service at the new location cause the provider we signed up with told us they were in the building but when they came to hook up, discovered that they weren't there so now we are waiting until they dig underground to lay cable. Has already been over 3 weeks and still waiting! DH is NOT a happy camper. Has become very hard to do business strictly by cell phone! (Oh the joys of moving )

I've been able to help out more since I've been permanently laid off from my job. Between lawyers, accountants, unemployment, and other various appts, and DGS' school schedule, my days are busier now than they've ever been! Unreal! Then my PC went on the fritz and I didn't have it for about 3 days until they wiped everything out and restored it.

Just got PSE11 in the mail today so this evening after DGS goes to bed, I'm going to download it and will try to play with it to see how it works.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've been on this site for November. But I've gotten some quick pages done and I wanted to share, lol! I ordered the new Divided Page Protectors from Stampin' Up! as soon as the new catalog came out in June and I didn't even get to try it out til late October! Iv'e seen these at Archivers too for sure, and I bet other places carry them too. Anyway, I was really excited to show my customers a less-overwhelming way to scrapbook...but I found a catch: the "back" has to either have the same number of photos or the same orientation...or you have more work than you expected. I'm still excited about them tho and not complaining! So here are three using the change, and the first and second are in the same page protector...if that makes any sense, haha!
Oh, and they are VERY hard to photograph becuase you have to photo it in the sheet protector and there's a glare! LOL!

Hello! It's been pure insanity in my house with another major issue that arrived Thursday so not sure when I'll get to scrap . Hopefully the resolution will be easy but since it will involve a state mandated law and education, I doubt it. Anyway, on a getaway weekend now with dh & my girls are at camp for the weekend. I will be doing Thanksgiving this year & my house looks like a tornado went through it, so I know it's a cleaning week for me! Maybe after Thanksgiving I'll find a moment or two for scrapping...

Cheryl, feel better & can't wait to see your challenges!

I've been loving the pages though sorry to say I haven't had time to leave ya'll some luv...hopefully soon!

I hear what you say about time to visit and leave some lov. I don't see much time in the next 5 weeks to get all the things done I want to do, let alone what I need to do, and that after getting done what I have to do! KWIM

OK, so I took time to do something I wanted to do.

Here is a page for the variety challenge 177

Awesome Sight

The tunnel is sometime after the sign that says "no exit" for two miles! It is like the point of no return! After you go thru the tunnel, it is mostly just climbing over rocks, and sometimes not path at all. I couldn't believe we did the whole thing. It was like our favorite thing! Did you see my other pages about Cliff Walk? Just click on my siggy "scrapbook pages in 2012" and there is my album.

Thanks for looking and your comments.

Sharon

* I have to edit this. After I told my DH your question, he reminded me that the tunnel in the photo was the second tunnel. I forgot there were two.

I'm sitting in the airport feeling sorry for myself and miserable awaiting boarding for my flight to Vancouver for a week of work meetings. I'm sure I will have a fine time once I'm there, and maybe get a little bit of Christmas shopping in as we are staying right on Granville Island. I just hate being away so long, and will really miss my family and my crafty corner! I did pack some knitting, so hopefully I will finish my nieces sweater this week and maybe some socks for me!

Nothing worse than waiting in an airport but it'll be over before you know it!

WOW what a weekend...Worked Friday then DDIL's father's viewing 1 1/2 hours away. Saturday DH's aunt's 90th birthday party an hour away then home to make help make clothes pin dolls & an essay for DGS & his cousin's 3rd grade project...thank goodness I got help from my DSIL, Judy. Today started with breakfast out, helped DSs made a fort in the woods for DGS, grocery shopping & big dinner then clean up. Whew...everyone's gone & it's time to put my feet up. BUT I did get some great photos this weekend. Probably 4 or 5 pages. Oh & I have to pull a project together for a NEPA Gigglefest tomorrow night!!

You have a beautiful granddaughter, and showcased her beautifully.

I scrap my granddaughter more than anyone else. LOL

Is "DGSC090 - Recipe for Holiday Ads" a link to a challenge?

Yes, Lou Ann. The link was messed up, but I think I fixed it now. Thanks for pointing it out!

Happy (early) Thanksgiving to you All! I have so much cleaning and prepping to do for tomorrow's meal so no scrapping for me today. However, DD1 is spending Thurs. night with her aunt so they can go see the new Bond movie. I think I will 'persuade' DH to take DD2 out shopping on Friday...so I can scrap. Or, at least get our annual Christmas Cookie Exchange party invitations done! I'm so excited to get some 'creative me' time in so everyone cross your fingers that I can get it!

I am cooking my turkey today. DH will debone it. Tomorrow, all I will have to do is warm it up. I will cook the the giblets tomorrow, so will smell like turkey cooking.
Then just make the dressing and gravy and potatoes tomorrow. That is enough. Pies already bought! Salad and vegetable are going to be simple. Biscuits are frozen, just put in oven. Anyway, it seems like it will be simple tomorrow!
;

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

For the past few years I've been bringing all the dishes, table linens, silverware, etc. and an extra table to my son's house, along with a few side dishes and have Thanksgiving there. I used to do it all, but have passed the torch. We'll also be going to my sister's for brunch and a visit with my brother from CA. My mom lives in an apartment of my sister's house and at 92 1/2, she doesn't feel like going anywhere, so we're going there for a few hours. Should be a busy, but lovely day.

Happy Thanksgiving to my U.S. scrappy friends and to all our friends in other countries, have a great weekend!

I have been MIA for a while but I wanted to stop in and wish everyone a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!

I am having some issues with pain related to my RA. Have been visiting a pain clinic weekly and will be starting PT next week. So not much scrapping here, have done a few projects to complete my creative crew commitment but that is about all. Big thanks to Lela for helping with the Thursday challenges.

Again Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Happy Thanksgiving all! DGS and I have the Macy's Parade channel on waiting for it to start and DH went to work so he's out of the way while the turkey gets ready Have a wonderful day today and are you all getting ready for shopping? DGS wants me to get him up by 2 a.m. so he can go....I DON'T THINK SO

I've done it maybe 2 times in the past 10 years and I don't feel the need to ever join the crazies again!!!

We're coming your way on Saturday. Shopping at the outlets them on Sunday taking DGS on the Strasburg Santa Train then to the AMT for the Christmas show. Should be fun!
