Can you believe this is our 4th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2012! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2012! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for February. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for this month, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.
*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!

SCS 52 Week Thursday Goal Challenge!
This year on Thursdays you'll be invited to join us for our 52 Week Scrap Challenge. These challenges will be PERFECT whether you're working on your kids albums, 2011 Family Album, Daily Life Album or a "BOM" (Book of Me).
By the end of the year, you'll have some GREAT pages or a complete 2011 Scrapbook...OR BOTH! :mrgreen:

I'm going to push myself to do 15 pages this month - with the VSBN I think that will happen! I am a hobby demonstrator for SU and have my first workshop in a really long time (for a friend and former demo) on Saturday night and I'm almost annoyed that its going to cut into my scrapbooking time! LOL I'm afraid the workshop guests are going to be a little bored of me droning on and on about scrapbooking ;)
Its funny, I've been thinking that scrapbooking - in terms of what comes easily for me - is the complete opposite of card making. I can come up with masculine pages really easily, yet find it more difficult to do a masculine card. In either case, scrapbooking or card making, I find it really tough to use many of the flowery sets. ODD!

Paper Crafty Goals for 2013: 50/135 pages and 185/75 cards.
I will cut back AGAIN this month as I have been falling behind more and more each month. I am getting a few done and that is better than none! March I will do 5 pages.

Welcome! We love having more scrappers join us here! Wow...awesome goal too...lots of inspiration for all of us if you care to share.
I've been pretty slow this year with pages but now that my year end accounting and government reportings are all completed and my business/personal taxes have been handed in to be finalized, I feel free to start creating (finally)! DGS has a busy schedule with scouts and baseball starting soon but I finally feel liberated from most of the stuff that's been weighing me down and I also hope that my internet will start to allow me to leave more comments on layouts. It's been wonky lately.
Here is the first page for March for me thanks to Mini VSBN.
I'm going to shoot for at least 4 again this month and I need to play catchup for what I've missed for January and February to get back on track. This Saturday DGS gets to participate in a Junior bowling tournament (this is his first year of bowling) and it'll be a picture taking opportunity.
Going to be an intresting month as one of my son's is moving in with me, in to a room I call my STORE ROOM-poor thing ! It is so full that walking is hard to do. lol My last move was from a 9 room ,full basment etc to 1300 sq ft. My down sizing went in there
So if anyone is from MI, I have a matcutter ,mat board,fome core, frames etc just let me know as i'm not using most of it any more.
Hi! Been gone for two weeks on a Panama Cruise. Was fabulous! Now I have to delete some of the 433 photos I took!!!! Well, won't worry about those right now. I have enough photos to work with; boxes of them!!
I have been going thru the gallery and commenting on what I missed. You all rock! I am going to try to do the two mini VSBN challenges this week-end. ( I have finally lost that rocking feeling!)
Lela, I missed my goal of 5 for Feb. but am going to set my goal for 20 for March!So my total done is 9 so far this year. Still hoping for 100 for 2012. Great to be home in my craft room!

thanks for prayers everyone! We had a rough storm with some major hail but came thru with no trouble. Looks like it is over so I'm callling it a night.
my goodness michele... glad to hear things were okay... relatively speaking of course!!
its nice to be back on this board... i had to walk away from it about 2 years ago as i started up at college again after 8 years and 2 kids!! but i definitely miss you guys... the chatter and socializing with my scrappy friends!!! so i'm hoping to be able to stick around more often, which i hope translates to me scrapping more often again. and by more often i mean more than the 2 or 3 pages i've made in the 2 years since i stopped coming here!

March Scrappers Goal

My annual goal is 106. Still not setting a monthly goal yet because my March is insane (but in a good way). I think next month I'll be able to start figuring out my monthly goals.
It's another crazy weekend here! DD1 has her tennis lesson this morning. DD2 is in 3 Lacrosse games today which I'm very nervous about. She's really starting to excel in her sport and the coach is using her a lot; that's a lot of play & I worry about her knees and overall health. It's a scorcher here today too. I walked the dog at 5:15 for :30 and was sweating from the humidity; it may hit 90 but suppose to be upper 80s for sure. Tomorrow a 'cold front' comes through and should be around 77.
DD2s 13th bday is tomorrow so lots of photos today & tomorrow but probably no scrapping for me for the next few days.
We just got back from a Jr. bowling tournament. DGS bowled really great and actually bowled his first ever 100 game (exactly! ) He was super excited! Tried to take pictures but we were asked not to during the games so I had to try without flashes..kind of dark but Photoshop might help with some of them.
I'm all ready for my SU workshop tonight. The bonus, I got 5 cards made ;) Now I'm going to put my head around the pictures that are sitting on my desk. I think they were meant to be some of the last letters from the ABC Album VSBN challenge, but I'm pretty sure I can't remember the words! LOL

To everyone who lives in or near the storm areas, you're in my prayers. It looks as though there is so much damage, I hope you and your friends and family weren't affected much.
