Can you believe this is our 5th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2012 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2013! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2013! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2013 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc13jun

Challenge 2013
This is where we'll have links to the Weekly Challenges! These are GREAT for Inspiration, we have Terrific Hostess and let's try to support them as much as possible!
I over ran my goal for last month and I hope to over run my goal for June. I am setting it at 10 this time around. I am not sure what the summer will bring, now that DGK's are out of school, I know I will be busier with daytime entertainment.
My signature is up to date with 20 out of 15 set goal, done in May.
Hmmm...I really need to get 33 pages done this month to get caught up to my goal but I'm not sure that's doable. So I'll be happy with half that 16 for this month ...
I'm just happy to keep getting pages done

I sure miss all the people that are usually round this thread!! I know life has a habit of getting in the way of our best laid plans. I am fortunate to be retired without too too many obligations this year. Every day is a fun day with time to myself, it is also the year I made a commitment to get more scrapping done and have not made one single solitary card since November of last year.
I was getting overrun with cards of which very few get mailed out. I just passed them along to someone that actually mails cards. The only card I have mailed in 2013 came back because I put something wrong in the home address!! Bless our mail carrier, he know us by sight, he knows my mom (she lives less than a mile away), and my kids who don't even live in the neighborhood any more!! We NEVER have problems receiving mail when he is on the job even if it is address incorrectly!! I am surly going to miss him when he retires in a few months!!
I would love to participate with this challenge. I need motivation to get more pages done. I am going to shoot for 15 pages for June. I hope I can do more though.

Lela, My year to date total is 41, and I'm going to set my goal this month for 10. I really wanna do more, but I have vacation and a card workshop to plan, so I'm trying to be realistic! At least 10 will bring me halfway to my yearly goal. . .

Dell, it really helps to have a group of scrappers encouraging you to get it done! Welcome, and I can't wait to see what you post this month.
Welcome Dell, glad you have joined us! I can say in all truthfulness this thread has helped me get more scrapping done. Most years I reach my goal, some years I don't. No matter what, I get more done than when I did not publicly state a goal.
Thanks for making me feel so welcome here ladies. I have my pics printed and will start working on my layouts soon. I actually started on another project for a swap that I am involved with here today. I could have done some layouts but I had the idea in my head for the other project so opted to do that first.
HOW is it a new month again already?! This explains why my kids are also growing up way too fast...! been a rough mommy day, lol. Anyway, I guess I need to set a new monthly goal ;) and I do have a page to share: Up On The Roof
The page was counted for May's total but it was for a blog hop so it couldn't be posted til June, so I added it to June's gallery, haha. My computer is still down (fan came, husband just hasn't had time to replace it) so I can't do anything digital right now. But! at this very moment my husband has our daughter on a daddy-daughter date and my son is on his very first camp out with the school district, haha, so I have a couple hours to possibly get some scrapping done.
I'll stick with shooting for 10 this month! Thanks!

Hey gals, I'm trying to generate some activity for the sketch challenge on my blog. Is anyone interested in using sketches for scrapping? If so, would you consider playing along with this month's challenge? To get to my blog, just click where it says "My Blog" in my signature line, and the link to the challenge is posted on the sidebar of my blog. You can post your completed layout in the gallery here, and link to the gallery. Thanks!
I'm still slugging along, trying to get my new computer set up the way I want it for digi scrapping, so I'll only set a goal of 5 pages this month.
I'm trying to keep my system from getting bogged down too much so I'm purging old kits and trying not to load too many unnecessary fonts. Plus I'm trying to learn Windows 7 features to make it work efficiently and also adjusting to Photoshop Elements 11 (upgrade from PSE9). It's all slowing me down, but if I do it right, it will be worth it in the end!

Like Wendy I am doing some organization of a different sort. Organizing my WHOLE studio! I kind of got bogged down with the paper organization, I knew I had lots and lots of paper I just didn't know how many places I had it stored..... Phew, I have made great headway but there always seems to be that last little bit that I just can't decide how to store, by color, by brand, with the coordinating papers??? I finally just got brain overload (not hard some days) and decided to scrap a page or two.
I was having trouble with the layout I am working on now so I finally looked at a card sketch then adapted it for my layout. I will go to your blog (in fact I am waiting for my mac to put it up now) Cheryl for my next sketch and layout!!
PS, I noticed earlier today that I spelled cherish wrong in my last posted L/O I do have plans on fixing it, just now sure how I want to make an a into an e!!
Waaaaaaaa......I want to scrap so much but I can't find the time! :-( It's not looking good at all this week & we have to travel for a tournament this weekend...so bummed!
hello ladies!
I'm totally new to scrapbooking, I have a bunch of supplies gathered, brand new scrapbook album ready....so my goal for this month is to START doing it!

Sadly I can't get my DGD to do any crafting now. She would rather read, which isn't a bad thing.
Cheryl, I have my photos and some embellishments laid out for your sketch challenge. I have one more scrap page that just need a little journaling then I will be ready to start with that sketch.
I got to play, I got to play!!!! I finished up the journaling on my demonstrated page from last week, AND I got to play with Cheryl's sketch with some photos that are 4 years old, haha. Cheryl, I'll link it to my blog tomorrow!
