I love that these blog trains are freebies and that by going into each designers blog you get to see and possibly download other things as well. Unfortunately, I think this is the first time I've ever had so many problems downloading items. Nothing that was on 4Shared could I download since you had to "join" to do it and I didn't want to and for MediaFire...so many "violations". It appears that the designers may only have a limit as to how many downloads they can have before it is turned off...very disappointing. There was one that had an element that really caught my eye and it was no longer available for download. Oh well...still lots of really neat items to use though! And DGS cubscout camping week is coming up!

Where did June go?!! Because it whizzed by and I didn't get a single page done!!! UGH! I'm gonna shoot for a big, whoppin' 10 pages this month. This Summer has proved to be way too busy for crafting....as sad as that sounds We have a beach vaca coming up this month also, so I know I won't get much done.....again. Here's hoping to a lot more pages done come August!!!

Took DD1 to tennis lesson this morning and it was so HUMID at 8AM...uuugghhh! I tried to walk but was soaked thru in 25 minutes so switching gears and going swimming instead . I will set up my laptop on the patio and work on some digi pages in between dips...to heck with housework today! )

Wow! We just got in from visiting the Williamsburg Pottery and then the Winery...109°!!!
I took a picture before we went into the visitor's center and it was 106...came out and it was 109!!!!!
DGS says it's a record for us. The one year we went to 105 in Myrtle Beach. I'll have to find my fire papers to do a page I think I'm in for the day now! A nice 70° in here

Summer Fun! It's funny for me to think about the times I wished for Scrap Time now as with boys gone I have alot more time to "get crafty" ... LOL!
It's really hot here too with Heat Warnings so it's a good day to enjoy the blessing of AC and do some stamping and scrapping. Unfortunately I'm going to be gone this week for work so I do need to do some cleaning as well ...
I did get some pages done and uploaded this week thanks to the day off in mid-week.

I did a double pager following a sketch at Let's Scrap. It is a sunburst across the two which I formed by taping two computer sheets together and drawing up the pattern. Left side Right side

It's a good one, Terri! Gotta decide what kind of page I want to do!
Mary Pat--you asked whether I made the photo look curled on my Task 2 progressive page--I must confess, it was already that way. It's the reason I picked those frames--I liked the look!
I really like your quote this week, Patti! I wish I were a faster scrapper. I never seem to be able to keep up with the challenges. I'm running way behind, as always!
I feel so far behind I think I must be ahead... I'm going to scrapbook every minute that I can this next week or so. Missing MY time!! I love the Thursday challenges, and haven't had time to join for too long now.

The internet is just an amazing place. I was checking out the new Inkling that just came and I was looking at the ways on how to fold a money plant which led me to creative ways to give money which led me to money gift holders which led me to a blog on how to fold a money shirt which led me to the above blog! whewwww..... These people live in Europe...not quite sure which country but the things she makes with paper is truly amazing! Enjoy!

Well...surgery went quickly. DH said the Dr said it was only about 15 minutes long! Took longer to get ready and recover after than the actual surgery. We picked up DGS to help me out at home but should have known better....he's outside playing with his friends so I'm left to fend for myself. Hopefully by tomorrow any swelling will be almost gone and my leg will feel back to normal. I'm surprised that I can actually walk on it already...the amazing world of medicine these days
Now that my soaps are over I think I'll go back through the gallery and get some inspiration!

This is great news, Terry (not the part about your "helper" being outside playing, but the part about the surgery going well and you being able to walk on your leg! lol)

Great pages Patti! You are inspiring me to get started on my Niagara Fall vacation that we took in 2009! I have done a couple of pages but need to just sit down and go at it!

Terry, good to hear the surgery was quick and that your not too laid up. Remember to take it easy - easy to overdo it!
This layout is for 2 digi challenges...DGSC068 and DGSC069. I used SCS card sketch SC200 to base my layout against and wrote my title on the larger picture and the date on a smaller one.
Now to go and find a layout I started a while ago for the very first digi challenge. I know it's in my computer somewhere..just have to try and remember what I "named" it
