I love their freebie kits. Downloaded that one when it first came out. It's really cute!

Wow, I have been working on my first page for this month when I got to wondering if I ever posted my goal for February so I came to check. Low and behold I did not get back to goal making after returning from CHA, the month seems to be getting away from me. On this late date I will make a goal of 6 pages. Now I better get back at it!
I have to find time to visit the gallery to see what has been done!!

Not able to scrap this weekend. I'm hosting Bunko tomorrow and busy cooking Arroz Con Pollo, Baked Plantin, and sweets! Today is a perfect indoor day, I live in the desert and it's snowing today ... I hate cold weather!

I wish I had time to scrap. Too much end of year/bookkeeping stuff that needs to be done with 3 different companies as well as personal stuff. And I finally seem to have gotten over a bad cold that's been hanging around since the first week of the New Year. My accountant has asked to do our taxes before the end of February so guess what I'll be doing the next week and a half? Scrambling to make sure everything is organized for next Friday's appointment! Gotta go get DGS supper and ready to go meet with his GF to exchange Valentine Cards/gifts. (He got her flowers and chocolate...gotta teach him proper while he's young )

I know ... my creative MOJO is working overtime it seems. I'm not complaining but it's been more than I've done the last couple years. I've had lots of scrappy inspiration lately AND more to come with VSBN and I'm going to 3 Crops in March/April .... whew! All good!
I have to share with you all. We gave the girls their valentine's gifts tonight because we finally got our 12 yo dd a phone and I had just got it earlier tonight. I couldn't just give it to her in a bag. She had said she wanted a bag of Hershey caramel kisses so I got a bag of those and cut a slit in the back under the seam, slid the phone in and then used my red-line tape to seal it. I put that bag and her card in a gift bag. It was so funny. She was trying to open the bag when the bag started ringing! Hilarious! I'm such a sneaky mom. bwahahahaha!

I've gotten 6 pages done this month! Half way to this month's goal.
I'm having issues getting pics. Mine are double layouts and if I get too close I can't crop them down to meet SCS size requirements and if I come too far out when taking the pic and then crop in, the pic is grainy. Grrrrr....will keep trying to get that magic distance for a great "crop in".

I think I'm going to do a goal of 2 a month. So excited to read up on what's going on and to be back!

Nice to see you "back" too! I used to be an avid cardmaker, but I found I'm more satisfied with the "permanence" of scrapbooking. I do know that when I participated in the card challenges there was a lot more instant gratification because you get LOTS more comments than in the scrap challenges and that feels GREAT.
In any event, I'm glad you decided to hop back on the scrap wagon at least twice a month!!!

I found this on Pinterest this morning and just had to share the link.
This person takes drawings that kids have made and makes photographs from them. You have to check it out to see what I mean. This would be a fun project to try with one of your kid's or DGK's drawings!
P.S. I have exceeded my goal for February already! Yippee!! I have averaged a page a day--14 so far!

Creative MOJO and time to put the MOJO into action is fantastic! I'm definitely planning to take part in the VSBN, and I have intentions of getting some pages done this week/end for sure. I want to, its just about the time!!

I am a cardmaker by trade and a scrapper by choice, I started out scrapping but some how became a stamper and cardmaker which seems to have taken over most of my spare time (DGK'S take over the other half) which leaves the night or week ends for my scrapbook mojo to get working. I would perfer the scrapping most days but have cards to get made each week.
I went to CHA as cardmakers so the embellishments and paper I was looking at had to be small scale even though I found so many things that would work great for my scrap books but just would not sell in the store I buy for. Darn!! BUT, we do get full size papers as samples on occasion that I can use.
It also leaves me little time to really check out all the new things for scrapping, but after several trips to CHA I find that there just is not that many "new" things out there, but heavens knows I don't have time to see it all and some of the things I like are just not at a good price point for the economy. KWIM
Ordering at CHA is a double edge sword for me, I get new things to play with (cards) but not as much for scrapbooking. LOL Like I don't have enough to keep me going for years now!!

I'm on a roll..............
I've completed 10 out of 12 pages so far this month. I'm scrapping my niece's "entrance into the world" and first week, in an album all it's own. Of course, my sister would DIE if I uploaded any of the "entrance" page pics (don't get me wrong, I wasn't were all the "action" was happening. I was at her head & took pics when little "P" came out and they put her on my sis's chest) but I'll try and get some uploaded of us holding little "P" once I get those pages done.
Thanks for the comments on Brooke's phone surprise. Needless to say, it hasn't left her hands. I took a video of her opening it but didn't hit record when I hit send on my phone so I didn't get her first reaction when it rang. I did get her going crazy because she couldn't get the candy bag open though. very funny!
Still haven't scrapped this month but Emily and I are leaving tomorrow for a visit to Oklahoma City University. I am taking my laptop and working on pages for my brother's wedding album. It should be an easy one because I am using CM's Click and Fill templates. I got 4 sets of them which gives me 120 different pages so hopefully by the time we are back, I will have a lot of pages done.
Speaking of our trip, if you can add us to your prayers I would really appreciate it. We are driving 13 hours each way and it's just Emily & I.
Lots of great pages in the gallery and I am slowly making my way thru them.

I've spent a little while tonight getting myself back in the digital scrapbooking groove. Having lots of fun! This is THE best way to get the hundreds of great basketball photos into an album - no way I will manage it if they are print photos to crop! I am starting with photos from Canada Games last year at this time - there are LOTS of them!
I just finished my 5th page, this one was of me back in 1950,,,,no rinkles lol. I did the folding of paper strips to make a ruffel, turned out pretty good, but now I know to make it less then 3in. wide.
Terri, you have some wonderful pictures there and some great pages. I have never given digi a try but can see the advantage when you have tons of pictures.
