Well, I think tonight will be the start of my Busy season! DH and I are heading out to his annual Golf Club holiday dinner. We have so many things lined up between now and Christmas, I hope I'll get some good photos for some December '12 pages! If not, I hope it means I'll be having so much fun I'll have no time to take photos!

The same goes for all my scrappy friends. Take time to ENJOY the season!

Winter Memories by 3Fries - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

A break from scrapbooking to get some of the 75 cards I planned to make done! I finished the Winter Memories with the skates the other week, but I did the Warm Wishes Stitched Felt cards today. Fun! I will try to get another dozen cards done, maybe. Or I might just get a couple more page challenges done....

Hope everyone is getting a few crafty minutes this weekend!
Your cards are so cute, Terri! I especially love the skate design--great fussy cutting, the dangling skates look perfect!

Here is what I have been working on: 18 sets of gift calandars. That is like 216 cards!

Jan-April

May-Aug

Sept-Dec

It feels so good to have them done. I will deliver 6 of them at church tomorrow.

Christmas cards 50 or so done. Maybe I can get back to scrapping.....

Busy busy girl!! Your calendars are awesome, and I'm betting your Christmas cards are too!

Funny, I did another set of 10 cards tonight with matching designer paper envelopes (attacking the stash...oh yeah baby!), and was chuckling to myself thinking that its not necessarily the making of the cards that is the work....filling them out and getting them mailed might be the more difficult task! LOL

Exactly my thoughts! A friend stopped in this week and helped me put together another 20 cards (I found cards from last year that I hadn't sent) and after she left I thought, now...how long before I put together the list and address and sign? Too funny!

Yep! That is definityly the hard part. Here is sit on the computer, instead of doing that job. Watching football with DH and I could be doing my Christmas cards!

Thanks everyone for nice comments on my calandars. I have fun doing them.
I usuallly watercolor the ones that need it in the evenings while DH watches tv. Good thereapy, once i am started.

Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd share something SCS has been doing for years around the holidays, but I had trouble locating the info. about it this year...

Splitcoast has a great way you can "thank" the moderators here--at no cost to you. Just place an order through Amazon using the SCS link. Click here for more info.:

I really appreciate the gals like Lydia (understandblue), who help us navigate and advertise our challenges, etc. It's a free & easy way to thank them. Just thought I'd share!

Well here I am. I'm so behind. I've been sick the entire start of this month. I hope the rest of the month is loads better.

It's not looking promising for me to meet my yearly goal of pages. I will shoot for 10 pages this month though.

Thank you Lela for keeping this going for us.

What a time to be sick! Sorry to hear that--hope you're doing better now. I'm impressed that you gave yourself a 10 page goal under the circumstances. Good luck with that and Merry Christmas!

I definitely don't take as many photos of the kids - my older two anyway! Hoping to keep up my 10 a month at least for 2013. I have a lot of my older photos already scrapbooked, but there are still some vacation photos that I haven't done. I would guess there will be plenty of basketball photos and pages to entertain Wendy with

I was home sick today and spent all morning trying to sleep away a migraine. I spent the afternoon nursing the headache that wouldn't go away by drinking a pot of coffee and fiddling with My Digital Studio. Got one more challenge done!

Pages I made for our two local Paralympians. We're having a little social on Sunday to honor them with our club. I also entered these in the My Digital Studio contest this week - we can't use professional photos on the contest entries without written permission so I've put my own less nice photos in there photo spots. I got my calendars finished and sent to the printer yesterday....only um, 6 days after the deadline of having it guaranteed before Christmas, minor detail right? HA! Oh well. I did mix up some things that I'd already shared, like I changed the dark March page to January, and changed up that Janauary page to move it to March... That is a great thing about digi-scrapping for sure!! So now I'll link May and December, which were my final two pages, and then later I'll let you know when I share the final calendar on my blog- which will be after my mom gets hers, hahaha! Anyway...! Thanks for your sweet comments! I truly hope to hit the gallery soon...possibly later tonight.

Aw, thanks everyone! Its always fun to come back and see that people commented!
More happy news, my husband started a new job the week after Thanksgiving and his pay is more than we expected - maybe I can quit my obnoxious day job and put more time into my Stampin' Up! demonstrator "job", which means more craft time!! SO looking forward to that day...!

I think I've finally beat the migraine that has been plaguing me for 2 days! Too bad I'm at work today I have managed to get some fun in while I've been feeling ill - can only sleep so much or I won't sleep at night and that's just a bad idea. I realized that yesterday was also the one year anniversary of my hysterectomy. I am happy to say that I'm feeling really good for the most part a year later! Now that this year is ending and I've seen how much it has helped to have a visual written monthly and yearly goal for scrapbooking/stamping I think that in the new year I will work hard to have a weekly/monthly/yearly nutrition goal. I struggle so much with keeping good meals on the table when I am so busy between work and our 15 yr old's activity schedule. It really affects all of us! With some effort I know that it would pay off in fewer headaches & weight loss for me, less money spent on fast food type meals (which means more money for crafty stuff right??), and better performance for our athlete!

I'm so happy it is Friday! Tonight I will finish knitting my niece Makenzie's sweater and get the buttons sewn on hers and Livy's and get them all wrapped and ready to mail. This weekend I will get all my Christmas cards signed and sent (I hope) and then hopefully have time to make some birthday cards or maybe just do some more scrapbooking pages....I <3 weekends!

Oh goodie, Terri--you know I always love your BB pages!!

Your calendar turned out great. Can't think of a better gift! I'm working on a calendar for my 6 yr. old DGD. She's been obsessed with marking off every day on her color-it-in calendar in 2012, so I figure she'll love one that has pictures of her and her family in them. I don't know if I'll get it done in time, but I'm trying!

What are ya'll thinking?
I'll probably do a 120 page goal like I did this year. That's an average of 10 a month...seemed to work out well for me this year.

I don't have as many photos of my DGDs that I've taken myself, but DIL likes to take pics too, so I scrap some of hers. She just got a new DSLR and has been taking more pics than usual, so I'm never short of pictures to scrap!

Terri, you're so right about setting nutrition goals. I have found that for me, having a menu plan, shopping for the things I need to stick to the menu help me get good meals on the table. and having as much fresh produce in the house as people can possibly eat without wasting provides great snack options too. Definitely important for avoiding headaches!

It's halfway through December and I am finally logging in to this thread! Where did my month go? Lela, please set my goal for 10 this month. At least my layout count for the year will reach 100. . .

Thank you Patti!

I did get a page done for December. I used Sally's great sketch. Here is Our Table.
Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments. Now, I have only 8 more pages to complete for my goal for December. Hum....

Thanks for looking. I am on a roll! Only 6 more pages to reach my yearly goal. And then get my craftroom cleaned, because that is where the DGKs put up their WII while they are here.

These are just darling. Great job. There is so much thought and work you have put into the different styles on each month.

I look forward to see more of your scrap pages too!!

Sharon, you've done a beautiful job on your Maine pages. I love the paper you found. When we went to Australia, I found a scrapbook store, but I didn't find any remarkable papers to help me scrap our trip. Your pages are always nice, though, even when you don't luck out and find the "perfect" paper!
