Haha! My husband is at the hospital tonight with our 16 yr old for a sleepover. They are checking said son's CPAP (night time ventilation) titration to make sure he's getting the best air pressure. Hubby has taken about 6 or 7 photos and texted them to me of son getting all "wired up" and ready for bed. They wire EVERYTHING...legs, arms, leads on chest, and wired for an EEG of brain activity along with leads on the face by eyelids and mouth and nose along with the pulse thingy on the finger. Not so comfy to say the least! Son is used to it (if you can get used to it), this is about number 7 or so for sleep studies!!
Anyway - hubby said the photos are for me to scrapbook ;)
I have a CPAP and I absolutely hated the sleep study part of it. I am so glad there was no one around to take pictures of me because I looked really scary, in addition to being really cranky because who can sleep with all those wires on them?! Sounds like your son is a good sport about it. Have fun scrapping those photos.
I managed to get a page done and loaded so here's my first for August! Way earlier than I dared hope, so that's exciting for me, haha. Daddy-Daughter Date!
It is so time to go back to school...my kids are tired of being together so much. Its funny to watch that as soon as their with friends they play in totally separate areas. I'm tired of the arguing and the daily whining to avoid bathing and bedtime... :P Oh well, only 14 days left! off for some more play time with the kids!

Just stopping by and reading today. We're getting ready to go camping at Ft Wilderness and since DDs are each bringing a friend. My 'kitchen' area will be a bed so I'm prepping all the meals now so all I have to do is heat on the stove...boy am I getting tired ;-). I'll be bringing my laptop and maybe I'll be able to check in for VSBN, not sure; I know the sites didn't have wifi only the Country Store area but maybe that's changed. Going to be a HOT weekend so I'm grateful our camper had A/C!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! See you next week when my kiddo's will be back at school...YIPPPPEEEEE!!!! ;-))
Hey ladies, mini-VSBN is this weekend. Check out the announcement thread and join us for the challenges on Saturday!
I just noticed this morning that my datebook had this weekend marked down for VSBN...I might be able to join in (at least at 2 since DGS and DH will be at a cubscout event then) Maybe I'll get a few pages done for once.
I have to make some cards. Was invited to 2 bridal showers and wasn't able to attend and one wedding which was in St.Thomas which we couldn't go to either sooooo....just sending cards and presents. Also have a few get wells and new babies and sympathy cards to make for upcoming events along with birthday cards. The hardest part is coming up with the designs. Once I have that, the cards get made pretty quickly.

Mary Pat,
You must live in my neck of the woods or somewhere close. I take it you are talking Disney's Fort Wilderness. I am one hour north of Disney. And yes it is hot!
Got a lot going on for the next two weeks. So, doubt I can do the mini VSBN challenge or even the progressive challenge at this rate. I did manage to scrap 4 pages earlier this week, just haven't posted yet.

Yes, I live in Seminole County. I'm acually only 1.5 miles from UCF & are about 55 minutes east of WDW.
I started a page with the digi challenge so I hope I'll get a chance to do more weeks to actually fnish it this month. I think I've got 3 other months started but not completed!
I logged into Jessica Sprague yesterday and found a piece on PSE 11 that I watched and she gave tips on how to set up the new version so it's easier to use. What a help! I so enjoy her lessons and suggestions and while I was watching the YouTube video, clicked on some others for PSE11 and learned some new tips. I guess it's been out long enough now that others are sharing suggestions and tips.
Here are a few more pages from my white water rafting trip and one from a challenge. I'm going to pick up more pictures today, different adventures and scenery. And I still have more rafting pictures to finish.
Ladies, don't forget that you have a week to complete the VSBN challenges, so even if you're busy or on vacation this weekend, check them out so you can start thinking about scrapping them next week!
I usually make my own and use misters. I read to use rubbing alcohol and not water so I have used that mixture and it seems to work without wrinkling
Lela, thank you for the reminder/tip on using alcohol and making your own misting sprays. It works like a charm!! Now to decide on what color to make my title and I will have one finished for today. Plus I make my own masks.
Our first mini-VSBN challenge has been posted!!! Our hostess is new to SCS, so please give her a warm welcome by checking out her challenge and playing along. See the challenge here.

Today's first VSBN challenge is right up your alley, Sharon!

I thought there were only 3 challenges being done on Saturday at 10, 12, and 2?
I'll have to go check it out since I sprained my foot this morning so I'm not doing too much this weekend in the hopes by Monday I'll be able to walk on it.
popping in to say "HI!" It has been busy here getting Emily DD ready for college. We leave Thursday for the 9 hr trip and move her in on Friday then home on Saturday. this time next Saturday, I'll be on the way home without her (waaaaaaaaaa).
She got her graduation present last Sunday night. I got tickets to the Jonas Brothers concert on the 9th row! She also won a fan club contest and got a meet & greet pass. When we got down there, she found out it also included a sound check pass. Yes, I won the "World's Greatest Mom" award that night! I was excited to see the opening act, Karmin. I love their music and they put on a great show. I can't wait until they have their own tour. Between the close seats and my great camera, we have some fantastic shots. We got some great close up shots. I'm going to do a digital photo book of the concert for her as a gift, maybe her birthday which is in NOvember. I still have her senior photos album to finish too. When we get back I hope to get into a routine again.
I doubt I'll get to do VSBN. Last night, DD had a "going off to college" cookout with several friends and we had to move a lot of my craft room into the garage so they could use that room. Now I get to move it all back in. Maybe I can organize it better as I do that. hmmmm.
Michele, sounds like you have a fun/sad busy schedule going on. I guess you will have to scrap your little heart out once your DD is off at collage. It sounds like you will have some super pictures to work with!!

Yes, the new challenge blog is open to anyone that wants to participate. If you don't have a blog you can link back to your SCS gallery. The link is in my signature.
I'm on vacation this week so this morning I decided to catch up on what everyone's been posting & leave a little love. All I have to say is WOW...there are so many beautiful layouts not to mention the photography!
I'm trying work on all the photos I've taken in 2013 & have a ton of them printed. I wish I could print only the ones I'm going to use instead of printing so many.
We bought a camper a little while ago so I think we may be gone for a few days. I'm sure I'll be able to find time to scrap so I'm going to take some of my supplies.
I don't think so, Lou Ann, but I've had a few issues lately.
Using your camper sounds like fun. I miss the outings we used to go on when my kids were little. Have fun and enjoy your time off. Hope you get some scrapping done too! Thanks for the comments on my recent pages.
