Good Morning Everyone.... Long time no chat!!!! My life has been very crazy and just when I thought it was going to get better?... Well, lets just say.... this has been the hardest month I think I have ever had to go through.
BUT I am back... and starting to feel better, at least I finally feel like coexisting with people and my family again.
I've been busy working on a small album for my SIL and almost done...need to get it in the mail ~ hopefully by Friday that wish will come true :-) I still have two baby albums to work on...I feel like this year has been the gift album year and my own pictures are taking a back seat. However, all that will change with VSBN!!!!
WE NEED YOU!
Many of you enjoy VSBN and have yet to take the leap into Hosting an event. With our scrapbookers numbers getting smaller, I need ALL of you to advertise the SCS VSBN on all your other sites and forum...PLEASE! In addition, we need a few more Hosts to develop and moderate Challenges. Please check out the VSBN Forum for more information; you can always PM me with questions.
I hope you can play during the mini and/or the weekend...looking forward to hearing from you!

I was totally inspired by the paper pumpkin that was featured on the cover of the September Stampin' Success. So with my Big Shot, my crimper and some time to call my own... I have a great new center piece for my new table.

For our digi scrappers -- I got an e-mail from Linda Sattgast at Scrapper's Guide today announcing that Adobe just released a new version! (9) It has layer masks and an out-of-bounds feature, mirror reflection and many more cool features. If you want to read more, here's the link:

I am so having this same experience. I went from scrapping for my sister's sorority into gift albums etc. I have barely scrapped my own pics for almost two months. Still trying to get back on track.
That's why I am excited for VSBN!!!!!!!!

I wish I could participate in VSBN or do something to help out, but Thursday night I have my book group and then the weekend in Nov. is my cousin's wedding, so I will be out of town. My baby is almost 6 months old, so I'm starting to feel like I can do some things again. So maybe the next one!

We're such generous souls, aren't we (lol!) ;-) You out scrap me regardless...I can barely make 100 pages a year and you do that in few months! Now with VSBN dates I feel like I can make plans and get things rolling...which really is ridiculous since I can do that anytime...go figure

I would love to join in on the challenges here. I have a question before beginning though. I have never uploaded anything so that will be a learning experience all in itself. Do you have to upload your pages for them to be counted? I will work on the uploading thing but wanted to play along if thats possible.
Hi everyone it's time for Thursdays featured scrapper challenge. Lela ask me to help her out so if there are any problems I am sorry....not 100% sure of what I am doing here! lol
Ok, the person I chose as this weeks featured scrapper may be familiar to some of you. She is a wonderful scrapper and has a great eye for color and design. I spend alot of time in her gallery she has many many wonderful pages to gain inspiration from.
Her name is Peggy aka Favorite Grandma. Here is her gallery
Now I hope everyone will go over to Peggy's gallery and check out her great work.
The upload code for this challenge is ThurFS0923 ans SBC10SEP
We'd love to have you join us! And no, you don't have to upload your pages, but many of us enjoy sharing their work and giving/getting some comments and "love." If you look around a little, there should be instructions on how to upload. If you go to Upload a Card on the left of the home page, it will walk you through uploading anything you have a photo of.
Just take your time learning how to upload and post--no pressure. For now, just post a comment here telling Lela (our fearless leader!) how many pages you want your goal for the month to be. We post our goals at the beginning of every month when Lela adds the new monthly thread.

Thank you for the welcome. I think since there is less than 2 weeks left in this month I will try for 6 pages. That is a big challenge haven't done that many pages in several months combined but here goes....

Welcome to our scrappy group... Glad you have joined us. Like the other gals have said...No you don't have to upload, but we would like to peek and gather inspirational vibes from you if you are willing to share. If and when you get ready to start uploading and need any help in figuring it out, I can help you and so can many others here, so don't be afraid to ask.
Welcome Steph - hope you are able to share some of your creations
Just popping in, gearing up to head to Vegas in a couple of days, getting excited, just hope the flights work out! And htinking of scrap pages, love all the challenges we have had the past couple of weeks and have the ideas, just need to do them.
Also picked up some scrappy stuff in the target $1 bin last night, remembered to get 2 sets, since I have two now Can't wait to use them!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes ladies!! I should have set goals or participated in challenges sooner. I have completed 3 pages today. Of course they were simple pages and 2 were identical but still they are done. Question about uploading...do you take a picture or scan your layouts? If you take a picture how big is your image that you upload...I really want to jump in to the boards with both feet.
So sorry I haven't checked in, in a while. School life has taken over and I've not been able to scrap at all this month. :(
I'm gonna try to get "back on the wagon" soon. Don't give up on me!
Me too Melina. I haven't accomplished much this month - 1 page plus 2 more started. I have had "zero" time for scrapping. Our oldest son, his wife, and our two grandbabies moved in with us 10 days ago. They have purchased a new home and take possession October 15th. I am sitting back and enjoying my grandsons. They are 2 1/2 and 9 months. So with those two busy little fellows, no scrapping getting done around here
