I just received a scor-pal from my mil for Christmas! I am so excited! I am so glad that I have found this thread - I look forward to lots of fun ideas from all of you creative people Kit - love all your ideas!
Location: in Bali,Indonesia, formerly in Australia
I have trouble with the layerd folds. I cannot follow the instruction. I have cut all the papers and folded designer paper 1st fold, after that I do not know what to do. Help please, I like this card.
I got my scor pal kit (yes I had to have it all) in the mail today. It reminded me of Aleene's Box Maker put out back in 1999. She also had a curved box maker. I am sure mine is out in the garage somewhere. But what I like about this scor pal is the fact I can put an entire sheet of paper in it and not piece together boxmakers.
I'm being repetitive here, just more boxes, but since I got my Scor-Pal I just can't stop making boxes -- I can't help it -- it makes it soooo easy. Here's a set of 3 that you can cut, score and fold almost in the blink of an eye!!! It's the decorating that takes the time!!!
I saw a tutorial on making square envelopes, but was confused. Does someone have an easy tutortial?
I created one that Diana has posted on the Scor-Pal yahoo site. It was just posted there yesterday. Have you see that one? It's for cards starting at 4 x 4 and going up to 6 x 6, in quarter inch increments. I believe it will be on the Scor-Pal site soon, as well.
Diana, I have attached it here, the pdf file you speak of above.
eta: after editing and converting to a pdf, there is a random 9 after the 6 3/8" in the 5" x 5 section", strike that, it does not belong there. Not sure how it got there, it is not on my word doc. Diana needs to correct the pdf as she is the one who did the conversion from a word doc for me.

Awesome thread! Just got my new metric Scor Pal yesterday! I love it sooo much I have just bought an Imperial one this morning!! Couldnt help myself, I love all the projects and cant wait for the Imperial ones to be converted to metric lol!
Hello, having just "found" this Scor-Pal forum, I just had to leave a little comment that I really, really love my Scor-Pal. I bought it a little while ago after I started looking at Sue Nelson's Gallery (Susie B) because she uses it alot and I really loved the look. I had been looking for a tool here in Australia to make embossed lines for a long time and couldn't wait to get my hot little hands on my Scor-Pal. And I have to say, that I have used it on so many cards just recently. I did the Grid Technique for a background which took only a few minutes but it looks so good because all the lines are perfectly straight. And it's amazing how just having one scored line between an image and a sentiment underneath can just bring so much to a card - it's like the icing on the cake. There is so much you do with it too - the possibilities are endless. Makes me one very happy cardmaker!!
I will telephone Scor-Pal in the morning.
I returned a Score Mat back to you, which was in Inches, and I am awaiting the
new Centimater one, if you look on the records, they are going to send me one as
soon as they came in stock.
Thanks for letting me know they are now in stock.
