Here a list of 100 links/ways you can use a Scor-Pal. If you'd like to check it out. (I'm still working on trying to use it 100 different ways myself, :O) LOL)

Hi Ladies I have a few tutorials on my website using the scor-pal.

The first is an accordian card:
http://www.mylifesart.com/2008/08/be...dian-card.html

Then I use the scor-pal and scor-mat to make a treat bag;
http://www.mylifesart.com/2008/08/day-two.html

Enjoy

That's a fun accordion card!

One little thing to remember when making accordion folds is that you want your mountains and valleys to alternate, which means flipping your paper top to bottom when creating your scores.

Example:

If I want an accordion fold project that has 1" folds the length of the paper( using and 8" piece as an example) I would place my paper in the Scor-Pal and score at 1" 3" 5" and 7" .... then flip your paper top to bottom (NOT side to side) , and score at 2", 4", and 6".

Always make sure you're folding on the valley so that the mountain is on the inside of your project.

I just want to further clarify you fold so the indentation, the score line is on the outside of the fold. This is very important when making cards where the inside will show.
I had a question the other day about a template that was on Nichole Heady's blog http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/
It was an adorable little bird house. You printed out the template on a piece of cardstock. You needed to see the pattern in order to know where to score so technically you are scoring and then folding in, which is the opposite direction to what we normally say. We are folding so the indentation is the INSIDE of the fold. The reason it is ok, is because it will be hidden. You will glue the box closed and you will not be able to see the inside. You will not be opening and closing the fold.
I hope I haven't confused you more.

Diana
