Some of the lines are 1/4" marks, some are 3/8" or 5/8". If you still have your packaging, there are some tips on the back. Also on Scor-Pal's website they have the "basics":
http://www.scor-pal.com/basics/index.htm

Hope to help!

Default Envelope from 8"x8" paper

Some of us TAC demos were discussing how to make envelopes from 8" x 8" paper (since TAC sells that size). Allison showed us her tutorial using a centering ruler, then I "revamped" it for using the Scor-Pal. I know there are sooooo many ways of making envelopes, this just happens to be my favorite.

I also really like using a piece of 12" x 12" paper, cut it down to 8" x 8" for the envelope, then use the scraps to make a matching card.

I've attached both the tutorial I made as well as a sample. Easy Peasy!

I'm only about 2 months behind everyone else but yesterday I was looking through SP's web site and discovered the tutorials (am I slow or what?). I found the one about using TomBow markers to make scores and it was wonderful. I had been getting rid of my TB's but now looks like I'll have to start getting them again. Here are two examples from my SCS gallery I made yesterday. Thanks for looking.

I don't want to interrupt this, but my boxes don't seem to stay together as well as I think they should. I use Tombow adhesive tape with them, but my flaps come undone. Should I be using something else? Can anyone help? Thanks

I would suggest using red-line (or super sticky) tape. When I need something to stick 'forever' this is what I use.

You'll love using Scor-Tape ... it's sooooo sticky, and doesn't gunk up your scissors! Truth is, you can tear it to length! It's a great buy too. (Yes ... I love the stuff!)
It's available through Scor-Pal.

I finally got a Score-Pal. Only took me 2 years! Boy was I crazy to wait that long. It's the best thing since M&M's. Ok, not M&Ms. I can't wait to get creative and all the ideas here are fan-tabu-lous!!

I made these fun ice cream cone cards today--they would not have been possible without my fabulous Scor-Pal! The cones were scored in a criss-cross pattern, every 1/2" and straight across at the base of the wider part of the cone. You can see them HERE, tfl!

First, does the score pal have the measurements on there, like 1 1/2, 3/4, etc.?

It has a score mark every 1/2 inch and then several other measurements. There is one at 4 1/4" so if you want 3/4" you would line your paper up at 3 1/2". It takes some simple math but a little bit of practice and maybe jotting down some notes is all it takes. There are great tips on Scor-Pal's website, as well as the back of the SP packaging.

HTH!

I just got my Scor Pal last week! I am quite excited to try some fun new projects but I am not talented to come up with a box like thing on my own! You girls are wonderful!

Has anyone done a card pouch that opens from the top?
