OK, I'll be 1st -- I'm usually NEVER first anywhere -- LOL!!

This project was already linked in the other thread, but I'll link it here again so it's in the right place -- it's a 3 pc set -- Star Box, Joy Fold Card and 3 x 3:

http://notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoas...-club-project/

This is my 2nd project -- it's a Christmas card with a small *quilted* area, done on the Scor-Pal:

http://notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoas...ted-christmas/

OK, who's next -- I'd love to see someone else's projects!!!

Oh, BTW, I had my Hostess Club girls do that 3 pc project last night and they were all VERY impressed with the Scor-Pal!!! I read somewhere the price is reduced for orders of 6, was it? Can you tell me how much it is reduced? Thanks!

luv2stampitup 10-25-2007 04:28 AM

Absolutely LOVE your "quilted" card! I am into quilting, so this type of card would be PERFECT! tfs!! You are so talented!

ddmac58 10-25-2007 08:58 PM

I agree the quilted card is gorgeous. I'll have to try something like that with my Scor-pal.

Thanks for sharing!!

Has anyone used the scor-pal for the nugget boxes yet? (hmmm does anyone still do them? I'm a late bloomer here) Do you just measure, mark and then score or have you figured out the measurements on the scor-pal without marking the measurements on the cs?
thanks so much!

Scor-Pal 10-26-2007 07:57 AM

One of our instructors is currently working on a tutorial for Nugget Boxes and a chart with dimensions for other sizes. The tutorial is slated for our Feb/Mar issue of our online magazine. I know people have made nugget boxes using Scor-Pal so maybe someone who has will answer this question too.

Skilo 10-26-2007 09:24 AM

Diana - that's wonderful to hear!!! I love your online magazine issues!!

but alas I am not a patient person. :( Hope fully someone can help me out! The reason I bought the score-pal is so I wouldn't mess up the measurements anymore! heehee

palmettostate 10-27-2007 07:10 PM

I have two projects in my gallery ... I need to upload more because I use my S-P all the time! I just made the criss cross cards and it went quickly because I didn't have to measure for the fold lines, just score.

Here is one:
Old Ladies Inside
Old Ladies Front

And my favorite one:
Sunflower Top Fold

palmettostate 10-30-2007 05:35 AM

Here is another card I made using my S-P. I got the measurements from
Scor-Pal.com.

This is the card front (I decided to add the rhinestone at the very last minute):
Tri-Fold Front

This is the card open:

I'd never tried the nugget boxes, but when I got my S-P last week, I thought it was the perfect excuse to try. Unfortunately, the only way I could do it was to mark and score. It was too hard trying to find lines to line up with to score in the right places. After messing up 4 of them, I decided to mark and score....

ScrappinGoodTime 10-30-2007 05:22 PM

I have been playing and creating and can't wait to share, just gotta borrow Tracy's digital and I will upload.....LOVE MY NEW TOY!!!!

That is exactly what I ended up doing to. I guess we will just have to wait for the Feb-Mar issue from Scor-pal for instructions. :)

mommaladystamper 11-01-2007 09:50 PM

I'm still waiting for my scor-pal, but hopefully it will be here next week. Can't wait to start using it. Everyone's work that I looked at is beautiful.

Here's a couple of simple little projects I did -- gift card holders -- only 2 scores on each -- but, oh my, how SIMPLE it is with the Scor-Pal. I am still amazed at how much I LOVE this tool -- I honestly believe that anyone who tries it just once will immediately realize they NEED it -- LOL!!! The creases are perfect -- the folds are perfect -- NEVER an error or sloppy crease!!! SOOOO easy to find your mark!!! Love it!!!

I don't have a scor pal but it looks like I may just have to buy one....... All the cards are beauitful ladies just beauitful!

notimetostamp 11-06-2007 06:02 AM

Here's another gift set of 5 items I did - I am actually trying to make things to showcase the SU DP on sale this month -- and I used the Scor Pal on everything -- nothing really new -- box, card, holders, but I did do a bookmark with a simple case that I don't think I've seen done before, and that case is so quick on the Scor Pal -- 3 scores and done!!! Here's the Blog link which has better/more photos than my SCS upload:

palmettostate 11-06-2007 06:31 AM

Sharon,
Your projects are always so awesome. Why don't you move a little closer to me so we can stamp together, hmmm?

Today I'm working on my stamp camp projects ... courtesy of you and the Punch Pals stamp set. :)

notimetostamp 11-09-2007 08:24 AM

Here's another bookmark I did -- in this post I have a template for the bookmark sleeve done on the Scor-Pal -- so super simple!!! I'm still so loving my new toy -- LOL!!! I've never scored so much in my life -- my Hostess Club girls KNOW they have lots of scored projects to look forward to -- LOL!!! And they LOVE when they come and I now have all their cards pre-scored for them!!!

another project

Here is my version of NoTimeToStamp's gift card holder using my S-P to quickly hit the right score lines.

Starburst GC Holder

I love this card because the dimensions are the same as an A2 card, just score @ 2 & 6", and VIOLA! a nice holder for a gift card. Thanks Sharon for the directions and samples.

notimetostamp 11-11-2007 11:12 AM

Still playing with and loving my Scor-Pal. It is NEVER put away -- it has a permanent home!!! On this post there are instructions for a Tent Topper Gift Card Holder -- super simple -- 2 scores!! Maybe it's been done before -- if so, I missed it!!! Just a simple thing -- but I love (and need!) gift card holders!!!

Sharon your creations are absolutely stunning. Can I be your friend?:D :D
I love what you do with your Scor-Pal. I just ordered mine and can't wait to get it.

Thanks for inspiring us on how to use it.

I'm being repetitive here, just more boxes, but since I got my Scor-Pal I just can't stop making boxes -- I can't help it -- it makes it soooo easy. Here's a set of 3 that you can cut, score and fold almost in the blink of an eye!!! It's the decorating that takes the time!!!

paulssandy 11-22-2007 03:46 PM

Ok, this is the first time I tried the terrific tape and micro glitter. It was alot of fun, but quite messy, :p , I think next ime I will do it near my kitchen sink ;) I am sooooo happy that I got the free glitter magnet. I wasn't sure why would need it, silly me! And that tape, WOW, it is truely "terrific" and loves to stick to things so much, it jumps onto anything less than an inch away, hehehehe. I thought for sure I would have finger marks all over the design after glittering it. But I think it came out pretty good. You can see it herehttp://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=117832

TFL :p

Microfine Glitter Tips

Sandy, your snowflake card is absolutely gorgeous!

Microfine Glitter Tips:
1. Empty jar of glitter into a small container with a tight lid. Label with name of color.
2. Fold a piece of computer paper in half, sharpen crease, open out and work over this paper.
3. Use a spoon to distribute glitter to the top part of the adhesive on your card especially when you are glittering a large area of background. Do NOT dump out the glitter.
4. Use the back of the spoon to move the glitter down the adhesive. Add a little more glitter if needed.
5. Use a make up brush to brush off excess glitter onto the piece of paper.
6. Funnel any remaining glitter back into the container.
7. Wipe paper and work surface with Glitter Magnet cloth until no glitter remains.
8. BURNISH the glitter to bring up the sheen and fully embed it into the adhesive.

I hope these tips are helpful.

paulssandy 11-23-2007 04:29 AM

WOW, that helps ALOT, thank you!! I just sprinkled it from the jar onto the tape, which ended up being about half the jar :o I also used my powder pal to catch the glitter and it all stuck to the powder pal. Even the make up brush could not get it off! I am excited to thy out these tips :p

Quiltnstamper 11-23-2007 06:48 PM

I just ordered my Scor-Pal and I am so excited. I can hardly wait to try out some of the techniques posted here.

Cindygrammy2 11-23-2007 07:14 PM

I just received my Scor-Pal in the mail today. They ship very fast, couldn't believe it. Can't wait to play with it.

Scor-Pal 11-24-2007 08:38 AM

I am working feverishly on the Christmas issue, hope to post it Dec. 1st. You are going to love all the projects!

Just ordered my Scor-Pal after trying a friend's, can't wait to get it this week. Looking forward to the carrier tote also. Love how bloggers are sharing their projects with Scor-Pal info.

okimom2girlz 11-26-2007 05:32 PM

I just received my Scor-Pal

Yeah, I just picked up my Scor-Pal. You know it is Tuesday here already, 11:27 AM and I got home a little while ago from picking up my mail. I was like a kid in the candy store:D I had to try out right away. Man, it is so easy to make gate-fold cards. I hated to measure and mark and erase. Well, no more. Within seconds I had 6 cards done.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, DIANA. You are the BEST!!!
Love my Pal and I have to agree with all of the other ladies on here that praise the Scor-Pal. It is well worth the money. Besides, how many times have we bought something for $ 40.00 and never even used it;) . This is one toy/tool you won't even put away. Mine has a permanent spot now on my table.:D

Scor-Pal 11-26-2007 11:31 PM

You are very, very welcome. I am so glad Scor-Pal has met your expectations. I love it but then I am biased...lol.

palmettostate 11-27-2007 06:56 PM

I just finished up 2 dozen Christmas cards with my BFF S-P.
Being able to score the cards and belly bands w/out measuring is the best! I pretty much copied the tutorial here on SCS for Criss Cross Cards. I love the Dashing Designer paper.

The only thing I did differently from the tutorial is that I used 8.5 x 11" cardstock for the belly band instead of 12 x 12". It does leave a small gap, but since I was using the scallop punch it covers the gap w/ no problem and I didn't have to buy additional cardstock - I could use from my stash. :)

You can find my card here: Criss Cross Spotlight

Will

there be a bag coming out to carry or store the SP ?

Thanks, Thelma

Yes the Scor-Tote will be available in late January. It is approx 14" x 16", water resistant fabric in a gorgeous teal colour. There is room for your Scor-Pal, pockets for your Fiskar's 12" cutter, crop-a-dile or other tools and paper. On the outside there is a large zippered pocket and it has an adjustable shoulder strap. http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/...out_id=1265941

Dianne Rakes 11-29-2007 05:51 PM

The snowflake card is so pretty. What color of glitter did you use? Is it clear and was that snowflake paper? Also, what do you do to burnish it? Thanks! I just rec'd my Scor-Pal today! I think I know need to order glitter!
