While it is not necessary, many of you have asked if we sell a tape dispenser for our Scor-Tape. After much research and testing we have selected this 3M brand tape dispenser to sell along with our popular Scor-Tape. As depicted, it will hold a 1/8", a 1/4", a 1/2" and a 1" width roll comfortably.
Pull-and-cut dispenser that is the standard of the industry. It is a practical and economical dispenser with multiple-roll capacity. Capable of holding tapes, or a combination of tape rolls, up to 2 inches wide. Its many attachments add versatility. Plastic construction. Designed to be set on or fixed down to a flat work surface. Dispenses film-backed and paper tapes. Max roll diameter: 6 7/8 inch. Retail Price $39.95
I have not used this tape before, but if this is an alternative to the red roll of extremely sitcky tape that I am using right now...the idea of having it on a dispenser instead of cutting off the roll is enough to get me to give it a shot I am glad this was posted here. I will admit that (and this is just my opinion, not trying to be rude) I think $40 for a tape dispenser is a little much. ATG's cost about that though and everyone seems to have one so I could be wrong What are the "many attachments"? I clicked on the link but can't tell. Thanks!
Ask yourself, "When Iím on my deathbed, will I be glad I was so serious about _______?" Let down your hair and stop being so darn important for a while. my gallery
While a dispenser would be a big plus for using my scor-tape, there is no way I'd spend $40 on it...without tape as part of the offer. That's just way too high of a price. And I do have the pink atg, which with two rolls of tape that came with, I still only paid $20.
I'm not trying to be rude either, just expressing my opinion.
This is one of those products you may want to try before you buy, make sure of the return policy. I had one and found it very inconvenient. I was always pulling off too much or not enough tape. I have found the the dispensers at the end of my arms work very well.
Has anyone tried it with an ATG?
Wow, that is quite a tape dispenser! Unfortunately, I will have to pass this up as $40 is way above my budget. If the price comes down in the future, I definitely will be very interested in buying it. However, my birthday is coming up in July, & I will be dropping hints??!!
WOW! Yep I agree $40.00 would buy a lot of tape. Look here. Anyone of you that have DH that do woodworking. Could be customized to fit any type of tape and width. With some thought and creativity could be made portable too I am sure. Has anyone made a wooden tape dispenser like the $40.00?
