April Release Party is HERE!!!!

Hello everyone!!

All of the chatter for tonight's April New Release Celebration will take place here! Things officially get underway tonight at 8:00 PM EST.

Make sure to grab your snacks and crafty supplies.....we're bringing the cake and ice cream (to celebrate our birthday girl!!)! We'll see you soon!

I don't want to sound like I'm whining or complaining or anything like that, but I have a question that I feel is a legitimate concern.

Usually the release parties are on Thursday night and the upload deadline for the challenges is Sunday night. Generally, that isn't a problem.

However, with this weekend being Easter, is there any possibility that the SNSS Powers That Be will extend the deadline a few days?

We'll be busy traveling and visiting family, so I'll have very little chance to craft on Friday, and none on Saturday and Sunday.

I don't know how many other SNSS fans are in a similar predicament.

Anyway, I just wanted to ask and see if that's something that would be taken into consideration for this release party.

We've already taken the holiday weekend into account, and have moved the usual Sunday deadline to Monday night at 9:00 PM EST

I'm making it a priority! I'm still not sure if hubby is going to cook or go for take out, but whatever it is, I'm not doing the cooking!

It's been a rough, crazy, stressful week and I am in desperate need of girl time.

We did dinner in shifts, which I usually don't do during the week. But with one sick, I decided to feed the kids different things, and DH and I ate after they went to bed.

I've cooked for six days in a row. I also have a ton of cooking to do this weekend. Now, I love to cook, but I also love a break every so often.

BTW, he went to Wendy's.. it's just a skip up the road and I love their baked potatoes!

We have one of those, but Samson doesn't like it. He much prefers his catnip ball. I swear he actually HUGS it!

Unfortunately no card making for me for a few days - I have to keep my leg up and on ice because I developed fluid on my knee after the hip replacement surgery. Tomorrow I get the fluid aspiratd.
