distressing is great and the perfect way to cover up a crooked cut!
Love the suggestion, Moe! I hate it when I accidentally wind up with a crooked cut, and then make it worse by trying to fix it! Next time...distress it!
When we lived in Costa Rica my mom said ladies would pull me out of the stroller and snuggle me! Latins loooooove kids and my poor mom almost had a heart attack the first time it happened.
Wow, my protective instinct alarm bells would be going off! Hard to imagine, but different cultures are so diverse in what behavior is normal, etc.
here's my last little project. VERY easy and simple tags because everytime I make really intricate ones and the recipient throws it in the garbage pile, I leer at them and say in my head,"You're not keeping that? Do you know how long it took to MAKE that?" lOL, so it's simple this year!
Rosie, that's so sweet of you My mom loved my cards and I remember how she touched the jewels on the last Christmas card I made her before she passed away

That was quite a few....ahem...years ago. Not sure if it is still that way now. Just part and parcel of the culture down there.

Sometimes these clean and simple ones are refreshing I think. I have so many stamps that require coloring and although I love it- it is time consuming. I love the VERVE stamps because I can create a clean, fresh and fun card and not have to spend an hour coloring. Love them!
I'd jump for joy right now but my two oversized kitties have me pinned to the couch and I think they might be upset if I woke them up from their catnaps!
