My daughter made lavender biscotti this weekend for my mom and sister who went to her place for brunch... I'm so envious (I live halfway across the country so didn't get to go)... but I'm hoping to get her recipe for this!

Hi all,

Could you tell me what "high quality cardstock" is? I buy some from the Cropping Bug but also buy some individual pieces at Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's. Are the ones from Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's considered high quality or just the named papers? Just wondering.

Hugs to all,
Mary : )

I use both, Mary, but I think the biggest thing is that you use card stock, not just thick paper, is generally what it means I think. When SCS started out, it was mostly Stampin'Up reps and so mostly that meant SU cardstock or similar weight/quality. But I have found over the years, as scrapbooking has grown and there are so many more products out there, that a lot of people use other companies and the cardstock is just as good if not better. For example, GP110 cardstock is what I use mostly for card bases now and for stamping images because it doesn't bleed out like SU cardstock it seems.
CTMH cardstock has a nice white core, but doesn't seem as heavyweight to me but I like it and use it for projects too. And then there are so many others I like and use such as Coredinations, Bazzill, etc. I think you will be fine!

I received a copy of Republic of Tea catalogue in my mail today. I haven't received one of these in over a year! They must have heard I am doing this tea on Saturday..Hee!! Hee!! Anyway, I can't wait to browse the catty and they even sent a sample of Twenty Herbs tea. It's in a round tea bag.

Ignore this post...I meant to post in the Virtual Tea post...still thinking about doing this swap...

Susan,

I am going to post a recipe for Mini Tea Cake balls. Just wanted to let you know. Also, I am so sorry but I can't do the Fall Tea Party. I am committed to a year long Basic Gray monthly scrapping day and it falls on the same day as the Fall Tea Party.

Have a wonderful summer.

I'm making a sandwich cookie. I'll have to read back through the details and get it put together after Adrian leaves on the 5th of July. Not a lot of computer time right now so I just buzz through and I hope I don't get myself in trouble

Hi Sybil - love your tag line!

Susan, I am planning to send my textile items with these to save a little on postage if that is ok with you.

Hope you're all having a great week.
