Postal! Party Snacks & Goodies Recipe Swap due July 15th
Do you love all the snacks and goodies that are available for parties - for instance, chocolate covered pretzels and marshmallows on sticks, cake pops, oreo truffles, different types of snack mixes, etc. My sis made this incredible caramel chex mix for a party we held and it got me thinking...
This swap is for all those goodies that are great for anytime but especially parties and gatherings.
Please place your recipe on a good quality 6x6 cardstock with at least one more layer of cardstock or patterned paper. Recipes should be typed and not hand-written and at least one embellishment. Some sort of stamping is desired but not required. NVR
Each swapper will receive my sister's recipe on a layout designed by me as a THANK YOU.
This will be a 3+1 swap
Due: July 15th
Feel free to sign up for more than one spot, but each spot must be a different recipe.
Place your recipe cards in plastic or in a ziplock baggie before placing in a regular envelope to protect your work. Please include a return address label and the same amount of postage it took to mail to me plus a couple extra stamps, just in case. What is not used, will be returned.
Please mail to:

sounds great - sign me up for 2 spots - one question, does it need to be something sweet though - I have some ideas floating around in my noggin of "ants on a log" got some cute picnic paper and wanted to do something like that...would that be okay?
if not i can do something more detailed - please put me down for fruit salsa w/cinnamon chips and my second one i will do sausage balls...thanks!
Good morning MonkeyScrapper22: I believe your "ants on a log" would be considered a snack so it'll work. The whole picnic paper idea sounds really cute! I'll put you down for two spots and just let me know which of the two you decide.
Good morning swappers! Welcome amiller28smom! Love that name! LOL
amiller28, will you be joining us too?
I'm going to an all day crop on Tuesday, April 10th so I'll see if I can gather some more swappers there. A few of my scrapping friends join SCS swaps so I'll give them a poke. Next week is Spring Break for our school district so many ladies are staying home with their children. I work for the school district and we're actually open during this time, but it's a great day to take a vacation day especially when I'll be crafting all day.
Welcome Leona! I am at my local library using their computer. Our computer at home is not working right now. Luckily I have friends in the IT Dept at work, the only bad thing is that next week is Spring Break and many people are off. It may be awhile until our home computer is working...BOO!
If you don't hear from me for awhile, that's why...
I ate this chex mix chocolate thingy the other day and it was fabulous! Does anyone know what it's called or how to make it? This would be a great recipe for this swap! It had some powder sugar coating and had a peanut butter taste. I don't know but it was yummy!
Location: In a little piece of Heaven - Southern Tip of Ohio
I wonder if the chex mix chocolate you ate is what is called "Puppy Chow?" I make it with white chocolate. You have chex mix in it and M&M's, and cover it with chocolate and then confectioner's sugar. Was it something like that?
Also, wanted to mention a good way to get a home computer is through HSN. I got one there for same as cash at six months, and it was a top of the line computer. Couldn't be bought in a store. It was only made for HSN. It was a Gateway. I love it. Now I have a new one, that I got from Dell, which I used my AAA card and got a discount. My husband uses the Gateway now.
Anybody have plans over the weekend? I'm playing Bunco tomorrow night and looking forward to it. I've only played once before and had a great time. I'm an alternate for a group that's in my town since I can't always play, but I am for sure tomorrow! Other than that, no plans for the weekend. I'm hoping to enjoy this fantastic weather we're having!
It's so beautiful outside today I'm so mad at myself because I told DH that I was going to get a lot of house cleaning done today. He's working outside...lucky! I may just have to take lots of breaks. You know, to bring him some water, etc. LOL
