Good morning all. I still have a heavy heart, but know it'll be good for DS3 to move out on his own. Times are changing. I'm telling you, I'm so glad we bought a dog last year. She'll be the only one with my DH and I when everyone moves out!
Yes you can Carla! Welcome to the swap. I'm really excited about the snacks and goodies that will be coming our way soon. We're starting to plan DD's birthday party and she wants to have an outdoor movie theatre. So lots of good snacks are perfect!
Another beautiful day here. I'm not sure how long it's going to last. We're trying to take advantage of the spring weather to finish putting in our planter boxes and plants.
Linneahay - Karen; your recipe cards arrived today. SO CUTE and yummy recipes. I love the stamped images and you did a great job of coloring them in. Yummy! Yummy!

Sorry that I have been MIA this week. My niece, 28, was killed in an accident this past weekend. she was a passenger in a van driven by her future sister in law. they were on their way home late Friday night from picking up wedding items and were hit by a drunk driver head on. she leaves her husband and 3 small children (daughters 7 & 5 and a son 20 months) along with other family members. How sad someone can get behind the wheel of a vehicle after they have been drinking and do something like this to innocent families
This swap is so far off...I should have had the due date earlier. LOL
I can't wait to see everyone's creations and try all the recipes. I made onion rings for the very first time on Saturday. My baby sis came over with some fish batter but we used it on sliced onion rings. So good! I need to find a homemade recipe or just go out and buy this batter.
Mother's Day was uneventful, but it's always nice when my kids stay home and hang out. I got a gift certificate so at some point, I'm going shopping!

I have the best Fish Batter recipe ever very simple and gooood! That would not be appropiate for this swap would it. It is good with veggies like brocolli, cauliflower, sweet potato served with ranch dressing...
Hi Mae,
Hope you decide to join us. I'm hoping for a good variety of snack recipes. Hmmm...I think the batter recipe will be appropriate since it is a snack/munchie, right? I don't know. In my munchie book, it'll be fine. LOL
I was planning on working on some swaps last night but ended up going to our high school girls' soccer play off game. It was a great game, but we ended up losing after the overtime and into penalty kicks.
We didn't get home until after 8:30 and by then, we watched American Idol.
Hi Dorlene,
I would LOVE to join this swap. I have been wanting to make
some recipe cards, and this would be perfect.
I would like to take two spots if possible.
Thank you.
Hi skimball2000, Suzie, welcome, welcome! No problem with getting two spots. Recipe cards are usually pretty easy to do since there's not a whole lot going on. I'm really excited about getting lots of really good recipes. If you have any questions, just let me know.
