Brown Chicken..Brown Cow...6x6...postmarked by 04/23/12
Description: ok so i am jonesing to do another recipe swap...and this silly word play "melody" on "boom chicka wow wow" has been stuck in my head...so i'm going with it..these will be 6x6 inch recipe cards...any course (salad..main dish...side)...but must have chicken or beef as an ingredient.
Quantity: 3 + 1...you shouldn't get one of your own back if we get enough swappers.
Vendor products: NVR...but please use quality card stock for your base...no embellishnents required but feel free to use whatever makes your card "pop"
Include your Real Name & SCS Name on the back please...so we can give credit to you.
Prizes: to random swappers...and those taking 2 or more spots.
Postmark date: 04/23/12...extended deadline
Mailing instructions: Place swap items in a large baggie for waterproof purposes. Write your real name, SCS name and swap name on a piece of paper and include in the baggie for identification purposes.
First Class: Place baggie inside a self-addressed stamped envelope for return mail purposes. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount that it takes to mail to me. To insure that enough postage will cover the returned swap items, include additional postage which will be returned if not used.
Priority: Inside your baggie, include a self-addressed priority label and one priority stamp. I will provide priority envelope.
Place your baggie and SASE envelope inside your mailing envelope and address it to:

i didn't see it...but hey very cool!...fame by association?
I agree Leona! I'd LOVE to join myself but I have soooo many awesome recipes from past swaps now that I haven't tried. I'm wondering what some of you all do with the recipe swaps you've been in. I really could honestly say I have in the 100s. Sometimes I just think I love doing the craft so much who cares if I EVER get to try making all of the recipes!

So I'm kinda new to SCS. I'm just getting back into stamping/crafting after a 5-6 year hiatus and have been taking it slow, but when I saw this swap, it just seemed too fun to pass up Then I found out I have to be approved to swap and by the time I did that right, I lost this swap But hurrah, I have found it again!
May I have a spot please?

I typically like this one (although we lose an hour) because of the "light" change BUT NOT THIS TIME!!! I think it should be LEFT ALONE!!! I am loving the fact that WI usually has snow yet and we don't, so I've been able to do yard work sooner than I EVER have!

I create goodie baskets for new brides, family menbers, new neighbors , secret sister at church, etc part of the little goodie basket always includes about 10 recipe pages (sometimes in small album, sometimes on a flip ring) and they are always a huge favorite. depending on theme of basket I add spices, mixes, utensils, etc (dollar store) for about $5 and recipe pages it makes great gift. It also gives me chance to promote them joining a swap!
thx for joining...got you listed...and i have done the baskets but not added recipe cards...that is a FABU idea!
I've just finish the bake sale recipe here on scs and almost done with main dish and add the recipes from here I've got another recipe book for my next gift basket which is a family wedding!!!!! I love swaps!!! they make me look so talented and energetic and crafty lol if they only knew!
