One of my favorite appliances besides a bread maker is my crock pot or slow cooker. Do you have a wonderful crock pot/slow cooker recipe, one that makes house smell so good you just can’t wait to dig in?
Crock pot/slow cooker recipes make your mouth water and stomach rumble, that’s a mark of a great recipe! Got one or 2 you can share? Maybe a great chili or stew? As Fall & Winter approach and the busy holiday season’s, I think of crock pots/slow cookers and warm bread or rolls !!!!!

Thanks! my favorite appliance in fall/winter is my crock pot! It seems school and increased Christmas projects always did compete for my time. BUT I could put crock pot on and never worry about dinner I hope you find you have something delicious to share!
I found a neat website at crockPotLadies.com that has contests for cookers and tons of recipes using everything you could possibly have on hand. and some really great idea's on varations to old familar recipes! check it out. these could be great resource for our recipe cards? I usually use my mother's cookbook which over 60 years old But they didn't have crockpots then and so no recipes except couple stews. I think this recipe book we are all creating will be with me for long time to come!
you may! Thanks for joining us and that's ok about not knowing yet after finding a website in a search last night I too am bouncing around options in fact got a recipe in pot right now to test it out!!!!! smells great, looks good, easy to put together but taste and how well folks like it are biggest factors I have a elderly lady who has volunteered to sample in her words..."anything" lol
I would like 2 spots please. I love easy slow cooker recipes!
Thank you for joining us!!!! ya, don't you just love the time they save? you can do so many things without having to worry about putting supper together! I'm always more hunger after spending the day smelling it cook!! lol but to me fall/winter is crock pot time! it's like hot cocoa is always best when weather is cold, I think some foods are just meant to be weather related for best taste

of all recipes swaps here at SCS I've been part of it is as long as the finished product is 6 x 6 you are in guideline. so most people postion the recipe somewhere on the 6x6 area and decorate around it. see gallery for ton's of wonderful examples.
I did get one few months ago she had recipe on a regular 3x5 recipe card and created a pocket page that was 6x6 and decorated the page then stuck 3x5 card into the pocket! was very cute idea. over in recipes there are always some recipe running. they make excellent gifts as well as to keep one's you like most.
I create gift baskets with kitchen items and recipes in a binder for family Christmas presents for someone every year. theme always changes. this year I have one outdoors cooking and a new bride in family for a all around recipe book. My outdoor cooking basket is for a guy so I enclosed spices and pot holder and made a chef's hat with his name and pair sun glasses and matches and few little items in basket also. the bride I enclosed spices and small utensil items (things you don't think you need until you do) from dollar store but the album is excellent. easy in-expensive way to share excess recipes with someone and knock off a Christams or birthday gift at same time.
