NOTE: This is not a Christmas swap: just a Winter swap.
I recently started making 6x6 recipe cards for a couple of swaps and I love them! So I decided to open a Winter themed swap. I also live in MN and love winter. So dig out your snowmen, snowflakes, blue card stock, etc! I am excited to see what you all come up with!
Details:Recipe cards must be 6x6" and typed! The card itself must have a Winter theme. Recipes can be anything that you would make in the Winter, such as soup, casserole, hot drinks, warm desserts, etc.
Quantity: 4 + 1 YOU WILL NOT GET ONE OF YOUR OWN BACK SO MAKE SURE YOU MAKE AN EXTRA FOR YOURSELF. The +1 is for the hostess.
Vendor products: NVR on everything, but please use good quality cardstock such as SU. Please use at least 2 layers & at least 1 embellishment. Stamping is not required but is certainly welcome.
You can sign up for as much spots as you want to but you have to make a different card for each spot. Please sign the back of your cards! Sign your SCS name on the back and you may sign your real name too if you like. Someone may want to leave a comment in your gallery!
DeadlinePlease have in my hands by 11/15/12. Late swaps will be returned!!
Mailing Instructions: Please place cards in a zip lock bag for waterproof purposes. Write your SCS name and your real name on the zip lock bag.
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULL!!!! Swap return: Please include self-addressed stamped envelope. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount used to mail to hostess. Please do not send me cash to buy your stamps. I work full time and do not have the time to do that. Thank you! Also, please include a couple extra stamps in case the return cards have heavier embellishments. Postage will be returned if not used. No metered mail please! For Canadian swappers, money for the return envelope must be in U.S. stamps or U.S. money.

After trying to for hours to get my daughters to clean their room, I burst in and yelled, "GET THIS ROOM CLEAN NOW, BEFORE I HAVE A COW!!!"
My youngest daughter (3 years old) looked at me with a very puzzled expression and said, "You mean you're going to get rid of us and have a cow instead?"
Hope you are all having a great Sunday! I have to do some sewing today which I haven't done for years. I bought fabric and a pattern to make an IH/Farmall apron, 2 actually, for when we go to Western MN Steam Threshing Reunion at Rollag, MN in another week. They are featuring IH this year.

A man hailed a Hybrid taxi cab in San Francisco’s Richmond district just before 5 a.m. and ordered the driver to take him through Golden Gate Park. As they drove, he robbed the cabbie, forced him out of the car, and told him to walk away. He then called the taxi driver back to help him start the Hybrid cab, because he wasn't sure how the environmentally friendly engine worked.
