Hello swappers!
THIS SWAP IS FOR RECIPES WITH LEMONS IN IT. CAN BE DRINKS, DESSERTS, BREAD.....ANYTHING WITH LEMONS.
DUE DATE: In my hands to swap by 7-1-2012
QUANTITY:5+1
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least two layers of quality cardstock.
- Must have at least two embellishments of some sort on each.
MAILING: Be sure to package in a waterproof bag, include a self-addressed label or envelope for the returns (I will reuse packaging whenever possible), and send the same amount of postage plus a couple extra in case they are heavier for returns. I recommend using DC for tracking purposes, if you want it, please add in the extra for that also. PM Me for my address when you are ready to mail. Be sure to post when you mail as well as when you receive on this thread.

wow all those lemon recipes sound good. and somehow I thought you couldn't do much with lemons! My daughter has lemon tree's we just freeze the jucie for lemonade. Didn't realize we are missing out on sound good cooking
delicious was the first word that came to mind hearing about the lemon trees. I don't actually think I have ever made a lemonade that didn't come as a powder...lol

they finally got a jucier to do the job and it takes 1/2 day but the smell in the house lingers for days! it smells so good. Homemade lemonaide is like no other lemon drink. Once you have it you will never be happy with mixes again!

The DISNEY swap is here in SCS go to the main list of swaps you find disney is has tons of choices to make and several signed up with a later due date to allow for summer activities and kids out school. PLEASE check it out it will be fun we are all doing either our favorite disney character or movie! We have a lady waiting to get accepted who is doing tags (disney villians) and one swapper is doing Main Street Disneyland!!!! I've had trouble with the link I'm not very computer literate need one of grand kids to look at it for me.
I am very new to this swap stuff soo I am wondering if anyone has done a diabetic card swap or even low sugar swap?
I am Diabetic all my recipes are low or no sugar. To answer the question a lady tried to get a recipe swap started few weeks ago and there was absolutely no interest shown so she canceled it due to no interest.
She had a best friend just diagnosed and was wanting to put together a recipe book for her. I suggested she advertize it as low carbs and Healthy recipes still no swappers were interested. Is a shame it is something EVERYONE needs to watch our foods are loaded with either salt or sugar thus 2 highest and fastest growing medical problems is Hypertension (salt) and diabetes (sugar) fastest growing category is children and teens!!!!!!!
Is there palace to suggest some swaps? Like BBQ treats or summer stuff, Christmas or even new year dishes? I am sure they have all been done but I just wondered

there is 3 other recipe swaps right now. one is forest food which is anything for camping pre-pared at home or at campfire. some very great yummies over on that one just read at all recipes being done there. I would think bbq and picnic fit perfect there! there is also summer fruits dish recipe going on, and party/snack treats so any summer picnic style recipe would fit there also.
they are constantly changing in last 4 months I have been in 4 differnet recipes swaps none the same or over lapping! just give it a few weeks as these end and those hostess do a lot of recipes so maybe suggest it over there as well.
