Question QOTD {05/16/12}: Coloring Medium Storage

I'm sure we all have growing collections of coloring implements. How do you store your colored pencils, alcohol (or other) markers, watercolor crayons, and similar tools? Feel free to share pictures or links to what works for you!

Let's see...

Most of my coloring mediums are stored in their original packaging and then put on a bookcase or in a drawer. But for my Copic Markers, I purchased these lucite plastic boxes from Hobby Lobby, they were like $4 each but go on sale every now and then for 50% off and have 6 of them divided up by color families: R/RV, E/W/C (neutrals), V/BV, B/BG, G/YG, Y/YR. I store them on their sides on the bookcase and when I am coloring I just pick them up and take the top of the containers off for easy access to any colors I want!

CMC and I think a lot alike about storing our stuff! My original SU markers, watercolor crayons, and watercolor pencils, and my Prismacolor pencils, are all stored in their packaging. I bought the markers to supplement my SU colors after the 2005 change, and those are stored in a clamshell box along with my blender pens. Those are all kept on a shelf except for the box of 48 markers because that doesn't fit.

I have a basket that's divided into 8 sections, and I keep my Copics in it divided roughly into their color families. Unfortunately, the basket is almost too small, so I've been looking for something else.
