Hey there everyone, I want you to be serious for a second because this is no laughing matter and is definitely NOT an April fools joke! I am about to crown our Queen for this week... (cue royal trumpet music). I present to you Queen Lois. You may have heard her go by “Clownmom”. (I'm not sure the story behind that name, perhaps she will enlighten us).
Some ideas on how you might encourage and honour our fabulous Queen this week: Send her a Private Message, comment on the lovely cards in her gallery, post a message for her here on this thread, pick a card from her gallery to be inspired by and create a card for her. There are really “no rules”.
EVERYONE is welcome to join in this challenge and give Lois the Royal Treatment! You can play along all week, or even in the future. There is no deadline.
You can check out THIS THREAD if you need more information. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
On a Personal Note: I was so excited to see so many participants last week! Glad to see all the faithful ones and even some brand new to this challenge! I also noticed how supportive and encouraging you all are to each other. Thanks so much! You are all the best, and all QUEENS in my books!

Trish, what a wonderful surprise. I couldn't sleep so I just did the Free4All challenge and thought I'd check out who was this week's queen. And it was me!!! Now I'll never get to sleep. LOL! I can't wait to see what everyone does.
About the name -- I have been collecting clowns for many years. I've got them all over my house. In fact, if you visit my blog, the clown in the hot-air balloon on the masthead is actually hanging in my living room! My late husband insisted I buy it at a craft fair in Jacksonville about 15 years ago. (It was way too expensive!) And the "mom" part is pretty simple -- I have three kids (all grown up now with kids of their own).
Location: Fairport Harbor, OH on the shore of Lake Erie
Congrats Lois! You will LOVE being Queen!! I know it will be hard to pick something from your extensive gallery, but what a treat for the eyes! I have many of your creations in my favs. So sit back, relax and enjoy your time in the spotlight!
PS: I look through my Queen gallery all the time!!!
A wonderful choice, Trish. Lois is always one to leave kind and encouraging comments on everyone's cards. I've often wondered about her board name too. Maybe we'll find out today. : ) Her gallery is a fantastic one and represent many years here on SCS. A BIG congrats, Lois!! Enjoy viewing your gallery as it fills up!
Wow! It's Lois, my DT pal. This will really be fun case-ing one of her cards. Besides liking clowns, she has some wonderful sets of s&p shakers. You should check them out on her blog. Off to find a card to case.
Have fun, Lois!!

Congrats Lois! I just took a small peek in your gallery and all I can say is WOW! With over 2000 cards to look at, it's gonna take me forever to pick one. I'm off for the weekend to scrapbook with friends, so hopefully I will be able to pick my favorite card to recreate in your honor. Will try and post Sunday when I return.
Yeah, for Lois! I have had the distinct pleasure of spending a weekend stamping with Lois and a bunch of other wonderful women about a year and a half ago. She does beautiful work and I am honored to create a card in her honor! Congrats, Lois! Again lovely creativity and you always have kind words.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
I'm still digging my way through the loose ends from being away working hockey Provincials the last two weekends but I will get back to my Rubber Room soon! Wonderful choices for our QFTD Trish - thanks again for keeping this challenge going.

It's not often you get a chance to CASE one of your own cards, but I'm addicted to challenges -- so I couldn't let the day pass without doing this challenge. This card is for anyone who has ever commented on one of my cards.
Huge congrats and hi 5's to Lois/Clownmom for being chosen our latest QFTD54!! Lois is always lending inspiration with her beautiful cards entered in so many challenges!
I finally decided to case your pretty fairy butterfly card and here is the card I made in your honor!
Have a fabulous week and enjoy your reign Lois!

Great - I finally know the reason behind the name Lois!! Oooh, CONGRATS to you my April 1 Queen. But, we know you will never be fooled and this is for REAL!!! Maybe the April Fool's Day joke is that you never receive your crown!! I hope not!! I'll play as soon as I can.
