Welcome to the Queen for the Day Challenge for the week. QFTD Challenges were started by our fellow stamper, Anne Ryan. I am subbing as hostess for this challenge while Anne is on a break.
What is Queen for the Day Challenge? It is a way to honor remarkable stampers here on SCS. Every week, someone is chosen to reign as queen. Her gallery is posted and to honor her reign, you go look at her gallery and take inspiration to make a card. Just post your card in the QFTD Gallery and the festivities begin. Please join us every week in celebrating the QFTD's contribution to our stamping community. It is what makes the SCS community a special place.
So let's start the celebration for this week........drumroll please.......
Our QFTD40 is Reddyisco. Yep the crown is moving!! Jo has a fantastic gallery that will delight you! She joins in on many of the challenges and adds to our inspiration with her gorgeous gallery. Her comments are always a welcomed sight when viewing your own gallery. Let's hear some applause for our newly crowned queen!!
So Jo, have a wonderful day/week enjoying all the beautiful cards that your fellow stampers have crafted in your honor. Remember, Jo, it's your day starting NOW, so that means it is all about you. Sit back, relax, put some warm cozy slippers on and enjoy your reign. We have added some fresh baked holiday cookies and hot cocoa with heaping mounds of whipped cream for some treats to be delivered with your crown, so enjoy the upcoming week on SCS. I just heralded the news to my DH, and my two puppies, Freddy and Cisco. They are all very excited, but not as excited as I am. Actually, I'm pretty sure the puppies don't understand what's going on. Cisco did, however, give a couple of celebratory yips.
I just can't say how much I love SCS and all the friends I've made here. It took me awhile to really become involved for a few reasons. First, my old computer was so old, and I was not using a very good browser so it would take me untold ages to leave a comment on a card. My new computer (not so new any more) and my new browser are like 'magic' so I've been trying to make up for lost time. It also took me a long time to start doing the challenges because I was absolutely terrified of them???!! I can't remember what I was so afraid of and now I love doing them.

Congrats Jo!!! So much great stuff in your gallery I'm going to have a tough time choosing one to CASE! As soon as I get my Christmas cards addressed (yes, I'm late but I have lots of excuses so it's all good...) I'll get on this challenge! Another great QFTD choice.

A huge congrats is in order for sure, Jo! Wow, I'm super excited for you. Bev did a fabulous job of selecting one of our very talented stampers. Jo, I wont be able to case one of your cards until after the holiday ... I'm on a little sabbatical shall I say. Wanted to stop by and said congrats. Your work and your comments are always a treat! Besides all the Fabulous rubber images and digital images that you could chose from...Did you know that Whimsy stamps have personalized name rubber stamps? Yep, I just ordered one to stamp on the back of my cards. I can't wait to get it. So every card in QFTD40 Gallery gets a chance to be a winner this week. Stamping can be fun and yet.....so rewarding!!
