Welcome to the Queen for the Day Challenge for the week. QFTD Challenges were started by our fellow stamper, Anne Ryan. I am subbing as hostess for this challenge while Anne is on a break.
What is Queen for the Day Challenge? It is a way to honor remarkable stampers here on SCS. Every week, someone is chosen to reign as queen. Her gallery is posted and to honor her reign, you go look at her gallery and take inspiration to make a card. Just post your card in the QFTD Gallery and the festivities begin. Please join us every week in celebrating the QFTD's contribution to our stamping community. It is what makes the SCS community a special place.
So let's start the celebration for this week........drumroll please.......
Our QFTD35 is Irishgreensue. Sue is a wonderful friend to many here on SCS. She is generous to all with her comments in the gallery. Her gallery is full of inspiration. Let's hear some applause for our newly crowned queen!!
Sue, have a wonderful day/week enjoying all the beautiful cards that your fellow stampers have crafted in your honor. Remember, Sue, it's your day so that means it is all about you. Sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy your reign. We put a special emerald jewel in your crown, so enjoy wearing it this week.
Wow, congratulations Sue! You have such a wonderful gallery and I have gone to browse your gallery many times for some inspiration. You are always so kind to everyone with your comments (and always a hint of humor - which is so appreciated). Woo hoo for Sue!!!
Oh Wow ~ look at you go, Bartonucci! Your Queen is a fabulous stamper to select as our 35th Queen For the Day. Yahoo for Sue.
Your write up is too fantastic, dah-ling. I know lots of challengers will surely welcome this new 'cut to the chase' format. This is absolutely better than anything I could have done. Watch out, my friend, may never return to the QFTD challenge! You're over there in Illinois setting a major hallmark for this challenge. Thank you so much.
Sue, I've already bookmarked 3 cards! I will do my best to get something together asap to honor your involvement in SCS and, in particular, all receiving our infamous crown passed on lovingly by Michelle.
Enjoy! Congratulations to both amazing stampers!

Oooo...an emerald jewel even? So fitting for this Queen! Sue, it is so good to see your name here, and I know that this honor will touch your heart. Get your kleenex for the words you will read, because you touch so many with your kindness and deserve to be in this spot! And I will be praying that your lil fingers do not suffer "Commentor's Claw". Hugs to you friend!!! LYMI

Congrat's Sue, I am off to look at your gallery now. Thank you Bev for taking over so Anne could get a break. Anne, your write ups were wonderful and very entertaining.
A huge CONGRATS Sue. I haven't been able to play challenges - burned out. But, I saw you as da Queen and knew I had to participate. I will try to do so as soon as I can. In the meantime, enjoy your crown. I don't think cowboys like cowgirls with fancy schmancy crowns; but, oh well!!

Bev, good job on choosing a Queen this week. I had no trouble finding something to case for our deserving royalty. Congrats, Sue...wear your crown well.
Yahoo for our little IrishGreenSue, aka Susie Q, to me. I'll be back late sunday to comment and early next week to craft some other cards in honor of our amazing queen!
Ms Bartonucci, what an outstanding job you did with this week's Queen ~ and it's your first Queenly challenge too. Good show, girl!

Problem on SCS gallery - not accessible to me at all!
Hi Bev,
Just a heads up, not sure if anything can be done about it, since I have been having trouble since the maintenance on Tuesday - I WAS able to sneak in the back door through other links, like yours below, but now all I am getting is this message whenever I try to link to your link, or any of the cards that are linked here:
The photo you have requested does not exist or has been permanently removed. Please feel free to contact us if you believe you have reached this message in error.

I don't want anyone to think I am deliberately not commenting on their cards, but I will be out from 6 to 9 tonite, and I work 9-2 tomorrow, so I will just have to pray they can get it straightened ot before I get home tonite. Do you have a way of contacting the Mods about this??I would not know how to go about doing that. Or at least can you give the girls a heads up - not sure if this is affecting a certain area or zone in the US or not!
Thanks, Bev!! Murphy's law, I guess!! LOL
Hugs,
Sue

I am having trouble with the gallery and getting into places all over. I think it is a general SCS problem. I will check on it later and if it doesn't work, I will most definitely contact a mod.
Sue, congrats to you on being our #35 QFTD! Whoo Hoo! I'm am going to be late, but I will be there! Have a great reign! :0)

This is the first time I'm playing in the QFTD challenge. I've browsed and commented before, but today, I thought I'd jump in and give it a try. Congratulations, Sue! You have a beautiful gallery.

A most hearty congratulations to Irishgreensue, our newest QFTD!! She's got all the makings of a wonderful queen!!!
