Girlz, together, we are an amazing team ~ The Queen Team. Yes, we've managed to hang tight and calm our anxiety and uproarious laughter to a dull roar that is so unbelievably pleasing to the San Diego Convention Center! We've done it again ... we've managed to have the San Diego Convention Center renew our Friday lease. That's how we roll, girlz!
Okay, are we ready? For those new to our QFTD challenge and sometimes contest, we always begin our highly televised Queen For The Day challenge with a very welcoming drum roll from a fabulous drummer, Jean, who hails from California, too. Let's hear it Jean, and, as in the last 2 weeks, we need to continue to tone down your amps and our voices to stay cool with the management staff. Let the drum roll begin, Jean.
Extraordinary, Jean. Every week, your drum roll has a new twist and I'm totally thinking I've never heard anything as great as this before. BTW, did you send your invoice to Melody Gal? Don't be shy ~ she's got it.
I'm feeling good about this weeks QFTD. Many times I have experience tremendous anxiety and frustration, but not this week. That's a good sign, everyone. Hey, look, here comes the Fed Ex guy with a big package. Must be the crown Crystal wore last week. BTW, Whimsy Stamps, thanks to Crystal, is our sponsor today. Remember our journey: we are to use as many WHIMSY STAMPS as we can between last week and 12/25/10.
Today, besides the QFTD challenge and contest, I'm volunteering as a 'secret reader' for a little kindergarten class at The Franciscan School. My book is entitled, 'Room on the Broom'. See how that rhymes? Well, that's our contest today. We have to use a rhyme on the front of our cards. Remember, Whimsy Stamps is our sponsor today, so your card could be the winner if you have time to make a rhyme on your card. Whimsy Stamps will offer either 1) 5 digis or 2) a $15. store certificate.

Oh, I'm so excited to see Vanna White here for the 3rd week in a row. Word on the street has it that Vanna has signed a 3M contract to be our official crown holder for the next 6 months. We're moving up in the world, girls, when we can look to Ms White to be our weekly celebrity. Despite the fact that Bobby Barker 'has' to be involved, Vanna makes up for anything or all things he lacks.
Okay then, please watch your laughter and your flight to the stage. We dont want any incidents to occur now that the SDCC has agreed to let us keep our Friday schedule.
Congratulations, linda! I'm just one of many to congratulate you on being crowned Queen. I know you are somewhat new to our illustrious card gallery, but in the short time you've been around, you've made each of us feel as if our work has great value with all the comments you continue to leave us. For that, we all say thank you.

Linda - this is my second upload today in your honor. I chose this card from your gallery. I ruined my Christmas image, so I switched gears and did use your card layout, but changed colors, themes and added flowers. Here is my card. Here is a card I made for our little Queen for the Day Linda. Oh Linda, you are so sweet and generous. I love to see you visit and though I have been missing in action, I love to come back and see what you are up to. And to find that you are Queen, I just had to take time to honor you sweetie.

Anne, I cannot tell you how excited I am to see Linda's name in this place!!!!! Aaaaaack! I remember back, not so long ago, when Linda was a "wee baby stamper newbie"- she was so cute! lol! She is still cute and one of the greatest encouragers in this place! I am so pleased to see Linda in the spotlight! Gosh! I better get on it!

Congratulations, Linda. I decided I had to join the QFTD challenge because you always leave such nice comments on my cards. This is my first time, so I hope I did it right. The only rhyme on my card is the title -- Think Pink. Does that count?
