UPDATE ...
I think we may have calmed the treacherous waters over here at the San Diego Convention Center. Word has it, they were much happier with Jean's softer version of Here She Is. Not only that, but they apparently are still on the fence about booting us out on Friday afternoons. I, amongst many, dont want to see that happen, so let's just keep a closer watch on our excitement and hopefully this whole fiasco will resolve itself.
I think we're all set ~ apparently Melody Gal made sure she had the crown delivered yesterday to the loading dock, so we're good there. I see Bobby Barker, that lousy 2-timing womanizer, wetting his fingers to make sure all the flyaway wig hair is perfectly in place. Oh, geez, did you just see that? I cant believe this guy. He had his assistant bring him a mirror to make sure his commerical high strength non-run makeup is still okay. Bobby, get a grip. There isnt one thing makeup can do for you now. Buck up, little camper.
Whew. Everything's in order, so without further ado, please join me in welcoming Crystal, aka crystalkbk, to the runway! Oh Crystal, you look so fabulous in that red cloak Vanna White so lovingly draped over your shoulders. Once the flashes stop, we'll all be able to see how gleaming and radiant you are up on that stage, girl. You look fabulous, dah-ling. Enjoy your reign.
Throughout the years, you've played a major role in supporting and encouraging us. Now, it's our time to show our appreciation for all you bring not only to the gallery but to each of us as stampers. Everyone, I want to be sure you know Crystal is the lovely girl that has brought Whimsy Stamps in as our frequent sponsor. Crystal, a huge thanks from all of us for making that happen. Whimsy Stamps is the only company that responded favorably to my many letters asking for sponsors.
EVERYONE: Listen Up.... there's a new contest starting today so please carefully read the directions below.
From now to the end of the year, our contest will be this:
You are being asked to use Whimsy Stamps as often as possible when making QFTD cards. You can enter this on-going QFTD contest as many times as you like before 12/25/10.
You can create cards for the current Queen's gallery or for our previous Queens.
If you chose to enter your Whimsy Stamp cards in previous QFTD challenges, you will have to send me a pm so I can record the number of times you've used your Whimsy Stamp images.
For each card you post with a Whimsy Stamp as your image, you will earn one (1) point.
At the end of the year, I will collect all the points to determine our end-of-year winner. There can only be 1 winner, so make sure you upload as many cards with WS images as you can.
The winner will receive lots of goodies from our 'anonymous' stamper.
Hope this is clear, but should you have any questions, always know you can pm me for clarification.
BTW, Whimsy Stamps has graciously stepped forward and committed to sponsoring ~ 3 ~ additional contest challenges before 12/25/10. There's been a change with their sponsorship. Congratulations Crystal for being chosen Queen # 31, I was stalking Anne's gallery ( yes, I'm a stalker) and saw who was picked and immediately went to work, what a fabulous gallery, so many wonderful choices to case. Then I decided to come to the QFTD thread, Ooops, I didn't use Whimsy images, so I will try to get another card done probably after my open house Sunday. But I will get this first one finished and uploaded before then. Enjoy your reign Crystal, hugs

Here is my SANTA FOR THE CURE card...I CASEd Crystals HO! HO! HO!...I thought it would be cute in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month and Santa was willing to wear pink to help find a cure

You've made a wonderful choice again this week for QFTD Anne!! Crystalkbk has an amazing gallery full of whimsical delight, but I had to choose a different path. I went with the rock star theme of her "My Favorite Music" card. I made a few changes and came up with some of My Favorite Music.
