hmmmmmm, did I ever struggle with today's Queen! I almost fainted when the wheel stopped on this stamper's name. Following a momentary lapse of consciousness, I finally pulled myself together and thought: I can do this. I can really do this. Well, I realized rather quickly that I cannot do this. I just cannot do this. I will put all of this aside as I call upon our sweet little Jean, our drummer that always sets the stage, so to speak, for our drum roll please.
Thank you, Jean. Once again, you've got those San Deigo Convention center walls and floor rockin' with those drums. You go, girl.
AND THE WINNER TODAY IS ... none other than our own sweet Francie G! Yes, it really is. C'mon down Francie and let Bobby Barker wrap those shoulders of yours in that lush red velvet cape that belongs only to you today. From where I sit, I cant see if Bobby Barker has the queen's diamond and gold crown within sight. Yikes, I sure do hope last week's illustrious and befitting queen managed to ship that to Bobby's assistant. MariLynn I know it's so difficult to give up that crown, but I sure hope it's backstage so Bobby can place it upon our new queen for the day! Yes, there it is. I can see one of Bobby's gorgeous models bringing it over to Francie right now.
Everyone, let's let the camera crews do there job. I ask that you please remain seated until the Fox news crews have left the floor. Unlike someone else, I only allow FOX news into these grand events so I will read and see the whole story, and nothing but, the whole story will be told!
I had no idea I would receive so many pms about our stamper today! Yikes, it broke my heart to upload a card from Francie's gallery that was in no way a true reflection of this stamper's gallery. I must apologize for that. I went all the way back into Francie's gallery thinking there must be one card I could case from her early days. Nope. My card was definitely not a case from anything in Francie's gallery.
Looks like Fox News has finally left the premises, so I ask you to please officially welcome our very sweet stamper by bringing all your cards and well wishes on down to the stage. Be careful everyone; I still see thousands of people surrounding the stage.
After that rather lengthy introduction, I realized I forgot to Congratulate Francie! Yeah, Francie, you're our Queen!
CONTEST UPDATE: WOW, I was overwhelmed with the number of pms I received concerning everyone's guess about our QFTD. I know my card sure didnt suggest who our QFTD was, so it must have been all the clues I mentioned. Yikes, I guess I left too many. Anway, the contest has officially ended now, but toward the middle of the week, I will place all the names of those that entered into the dog's treat container and have him pull one out. If you come back to the QFTD20 gallery midweek, you will see the winner posted.
Congratulations, Francie!!!!!! Your cards are phenomenal and you surely deserve the honor of being queen!!!!! Ms Ryan, you did a fabulous job spinning that wheel and choosing Francie!!!! Kudos to you both!

Oh my goodness, Miss Anne! I do indeed feel so honored! All warm and fuzzy and tickled pink! Thank you so very much! When all the photographers and TV crew are gone I will have time to admire my crown! When wearing my crown do I have to walk in heels? teehee! Hugs!

Congrats Francie. Did Anne add a red velvet cape? wow, hope that and the crown doesn't get too hot for you -- it's way too hot where I am to even think about velvet right now.
Your gallery is awesome. I ending up doing a CASE of one of your cards for VSN, so it's a simplified CASE, but you provided great inspiration. Here's the card.
I am just thrilled to see our queen this week is Francie G. It's been a busy day with keeping a grandson, loading MINI VSN cards tonight, but I am most definitely going to browse Francie's fabulous gallery and find something I can case. I'm sure I have some of hers in my favorites as well. Congratulations, Francie!!!

I knew as soon as I saw this Showers Bring Flowers card that I wanted to case it. I looked further into her gallery several times, but always came back to that gorgeous creation. Here's my version of that amazing card with only a few minor changes.

Ladies I was wondering if you could send a card to this man who had been shot and was in the hospital for sometime, and now need's another surgery. There was a benefit for him today, and his doctor said he could go for a while. I told him about SCS and asked him if he would like cards from a bunch of *old* ladies, and he laughed (and that hurt) and said he would be honered to get cards from a bunch of *young* ladies.

I am kind of late to the party, but want to offer my congratulations to our new Queen! You have so many gorgeous cards, but I HAD to make a fishing card for a friend (needed tomorrow) so picked a card that would work LOL! He is as avid a fisherman as DH so the theme is always a no-brainer! By the way, some time ago mothermark provided a perfect verse for inside the card!
