Some people like to talk, some people prefer silence. Still others are kind of in between. Either way, you can still enjoy this Queen's gallery and appreciate her kind comments for others. Maybe you could have a quick chat with Queen Gabby this week as we celebrate gabalot as Queen for this week.
Some ideas on how you might encourage and honour our fabulous Queen this week: Send her a Private Message, comment on the lovely cards in her gallery, post a message for her here on this thread, pick a card from her gallery to be inspired by and create a card for her. There are really “no rules”. You can play along with this challenge anytime. There is no deadline. Even if you don't know this week's Queen, come play along anyway. It's a great way to "get to know" each other!
Fabulous choice, Trish. Gabby is such a dear and kind person....always leaving kind sweet comments for so many others. Loved going through her gallery and found inspiration to get out a neglected die.

Unlike most days when I'm off and on the internet all day, yesterday (Thurs.), I wasn't. It's nearly 3 a.m. on Fri., in chilly, northern IL, and I just jumped on to check yesterday's email. I saw some SC pms and each one I opened congratulated me on being QFTD! WHAT????? No way!! I checked Trish's post and sure enough, it was me. OMGOSH! Among soooo many talented crafters and loved SCS gals, I can't believe my gallery was noticed or picked or howeverall that works! I am humbled and thankful. What a privilege. My 39th birthday will be here--again, heehee--on the 25th and I'm considering this the BEST pre-birthday present, ever! Thanks to all of you SCSers for uploading such amazing, creative, wonderful cards that inspire me and make me smile. It is my pleasure to leave comments for as many as I can. Again, I am humbled. My heart is smiling. I look forward to seeing each and every card that you add to my QFTD gallery. xo

We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
Me again. I want to say THANKS to all who have added cards to my QFTD gallery! I am in awe what ya'll have come up with via looking at my lil' ol' cards. I find myself smiling, or shaking my head as I think 'Wow!' or saying to myself 'OMGosh, that is such a cool idea--why didn't I think of that?' And ... I'm still waitin' to see some hard rock and grunge ... bring it on! Heehee! Seriously, I'm not getting cocky, just feeling sooo happy!

I was inspired by Gabby's FS302 Celebrate The Holidays with its wonderful double image dc tree, distressing, and collage background. I used 2 Sizzix dies for my tree and reindeer, and an evergreen vertical border. My sentiment comes from a McDonald's McCafe holiday cup Here's Joy for Gabby
