Thanks for the great written instructions and for pictures to go with!!!
I just want to be clear - the instructions are all EmGee458's... I just made the downloadable file up for her. Be sure to tell her how much you like it
I made some of these when I saw EmGee458's in the gallery, I used a larger gum and it was easy to adjust the measurements to fit the gum. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the instructions. I love it! I am in charge of birthdays at my school, and this will be the perfect thing to make. We don't have a budget, so this is something we can do without breaking the bank. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you EmGee458 for designing and sharing your gum holder pattern and sample. Thank you Cat for making the pattern and instructions downloadable! This is just the best site. Nice, nice people everywhere.
I acutally made some of these over the weekend to give out as gifts to donors for my 3-Day fundraising. I used pink paper (of course), and stamped a pink ribbon on the back, with a thankyou saying on the inside. Everyone thought I had really done something - but they were so EASY! And, you can make FIVE out of a 12x12 sheet, and using scraps for the stamped image. I used the round velcros, but cut them in half.

see post #25 stormie - sometimes PDFs don't download correctly from these forums.
But I can't find gum that fits the word window punch!! All I can find around here are packs of Orbit and Strident which are larger. Anyone have any suggestions?!?

when i made these, i purchased gum at target. they were 5 or 10 in a package... you can't buy single packs - they're too thick.

Toni - Stormie had a GREAT idea! use your word window punch, and punch twice making the opening twice as thick - that will allow you to insert a wider pack of gum.

HTH
That's a good idea (I'm having a "Duh!" moment - lol!)! I'd probably just have to modify the width of the holder itself a little to accomodate it...

Love this idea! Thank you for sharing with us. And love that it still exists on the forum since the last post was 2008. Be perfect for a gift exchange my son is invited to.
