Wishing everyone a fantastic long weekend! And hoping that I'm the only one currently having an interesting run of luck. Yesterday afternoon while the kids were in the car a nice lady in an SUV t-boned me on a green light. For a quick re-cap that is one infection from the dentist's office, one strep throat infection, one fall down the stairs, and one lovely car accident - still waiting to hear if my car will be repaired or written off. Lovely. On the positive side, my Saturn L200 was absolutely amazing and while I did feel the push on my leg from the door as she pushed in my driver side door, it wasn't my son's door or the engine. It might be fixable. So not sure if it qualifies as bad luck (car accident) or good luck (we all walked away)...this juror is undecided!
So, hoping I'm having all the interesting luck and wishing everyone else good luck for their long weekend! I've noticed that my luck changed when I stopped snagging so much...perhaps I have to rectify that.

I just found out that my throat culture from Saturday was negative...so I say to the Dr. "I guess I don't need to finish the Penecillan, then?" and she tells me to finish it? WTHeck? If I don't have an infection why would I keep taking it?
Altho, while it apparantly isn't strep, I'm convinced the penecillan worked on whatever it was, so I AM gonna finish it...I still feel like crap...I just hope I don't develop Mono again...

I would finish it too. If you've already started it then to stop half way through just makes the bug or bacteria more resistant to it. And if you feel better too... Although I avoided mono, I really hope you don't get it - because if mono feels worse than what I felt this past infection - I raise the white flag now!
I will stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Black Soote, Black or Brown StazOn and SU Basic Black on Heavy 110Lb White Card stock from Staples and Office Depot. I also have SU Naturals White or SU Naturals Ivory. I have all the Stampin Up Inks in Rich Regals, Earth Elements and Soft Subtles. Please PM your preferences!
That's all I got! Hopefully you will find something you want or like! I would recommend any of "Sketch" sets. They are beautiful, fun to colour and all retired now! So go ahead and have fun "snagging"

Shana, I hope this ends your streak of bad luck!!! So glad that you and the kids are all okay! I was thinking about you all evening. Your accident must have been right around when I was dialing your cell phone (since I know when I got home and called, and you said what time your accident was; they were right around the same time!), and I was worried that it might have distracted you.

Shana, hope your string of bad luck is at an end with the good fortune that none of you were hurt. I hope you weren't hoping for it in the form of the weather - it's a bad time to be living in Alberta weatherwise (although you don't seem to have the (more) snow that Calgary has in next week's forecast!)
Anita, just my luck with TGF order. They expect to have the original Miss Anya's (your fault, you know) back in stock by Sunday, so I'll probably *have* to place another order.

Omgoodness glad you and the kids are all right....That is so scary. I have never been in an accident myself but my sons father was killed in a car accident8 years ago this June. I am terrified of them! I am so happy to hear you are all ok!

Well I'm very dissapointed I just opened my Magnolia-licious envelope and they didn't send Blowing Hearts Tilda. They just crossed it off my bill and wrote "Out of Stock" so I'm sorry Gail and Maryvel (1/2 snag) who were waiting for those. Let me know if there's anything else on my list you might want, or if you want to wait until I get a chance to order it again (but who knows how long it will be out of stock)
Hope you got a refund..... Annoying when that happens. I can switch mine for Swimsuit Tilda with no problem.
Shana - OMG - glad you and the kids are ok. You've had a pretty tough time of it. You're due for some of the good luck now, because you've had all the bad anyone should have to take.
Wow the board has been busy today! I haven't looked at the postings since before I got to work, and now catching up at noon (ok, obviously adicted to these boards when I check before work, lunch break and after work LOL!).
Shana, that is awful about the accident but i would consider it good luck and I'm grateful you and the kids are ok!

Crystal and Lesley and all you othe enablers, I'm blaming all of you on my recent shopping! I've stopped telling my DH about the orders and hope when he sees the stamps and I say what they cost in US$ before tax and shipping that he doesn't ask for clarification...() I've got SU/S.Bella/and HouseMouse ordered in less than 24 hrs! (and please let me know about Sir whatsamacollet in UK--it seems UK shipping to CA is cheaper that CA shipping to CA!).

I think it's quiet since it's the Friday afternoon of the long weekend....people are packing up and heading out for the weekend or for dinner. It's just us lonely folks like us who have "nothing better to do" (LOL!) than lurk online....

Your accident must have been right around when I was dialing your cell phone (since I know when I got home and called, and you said what time your accident was; they were right around the same time!), and I was worried that it might have distracted you.
Nope - no distractions other than yaking to Brennan. I didn't even think I had my cell phone with me - it was turned off. The witness actually found it for me sitting on the passenger seat out of my view.
