Default Product Reveiw - Prism Metallic Paper

Submitted by Angella Crockett:

serif;">This week our Product Review focus is on Prism Metallic Cardstock. Our Daily Bread designs carries a wide variety of metal shades, plus some gorgeous colors as well. Each package contains 6 sheets of 8.5" x 11" of one color. This shimmery cardstock is heavy enough to be your card base, yet not too thick for your die cuts, punches, or embossing folders.

For my first sample, I have used one of the brightest of the metallic colors, "Flame", for the card base, along with Basic Grey "Green at Heart" designer paper (punched with the EK Success Dotted Scallops Border Punch), Basic Grey Opaline Pearls, and May Arts Satin Ribbon tied with a Bow-Easy. The floral wreath and sentiment are from the new ODBD release, "Happy Mother's Day".

This is the inside view, with a closer look at the Oval Nestibilities sentiment frame which was cut out from the front of the card. The scalloped photo corners were punched from the "Flame" metallic cardstock as well.

This is a fun and simple refrigerator magnet I made using "Champagne" metallic cardstock with the Spellbinders Cross Collection, Basic Grey Opaline Pearls, and May Arts Satin Ribbon (tied with the Bow-Easy). The embossing from the cross dies came out beautifully and there was really no need for stenciling.

To revisit Lorelie's previous Product Review which shows some gorgeous samples from the DT using the Prism Metallic Cardstock, click HERE.

And if you are wondering, what "goes with" metallic cardstock, check out the variety of
designer papers from SEI, which are either foiled, pearled, glittered, and just plain gorgeous! Is it possible to have too much shimmer?! Nonsense!!

What are you waiting for? Head over to
Our Daily Bread designs today and pick up some Prism Metallic Cardstock, which is the Super Special Sale item of the week, 15% off through Saturday, April 10th at midnight EST.
Happy shopping and have a blessed week!
