My father has been diagnosed with a rare, incurable disease called amyloidosis. He will be undergoing chemo treatment for the next 18 months, but even that is not a guarantee that he will go into remission. This disease is so bad, I'd almost rather it WAS cancer. He has little to no energy, had to be taken off the steroid because it made him psychotic, eats very little. He's only 67 years young.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your father. I will certainly lift him up in my prayers, as well as your family. I pray that God strengthens him during this procedure so that he will better tolerate the treatments. He is able to perform miracles yet today, as He is our Great Physician. Praying for a miracle.
God Bless,
Barbie

May God surround you with his arms and hold you close to him. May he comfort your dad during his illness and give all of you comfort in knowing He is the Great Physician. God says if there are two or more gathered together in His name, He will be there with you. May you always feel His presence when you are with your father. God bless you and Keep you. Sharon Fesmire

Praying for your Dad jackaroojrt. It's so hard to watch people go through such suffering, and I know it's hard for you too! So I'm praying that God will give him strength to endure the treatments and that they will be successful in putting himi in remission... and I'm praying for you... that you will be given that extra measure of grace you need to walk this road with him.
Thank you all for the prayers and kind thoughts. He's hanging in there, but barely. So hard to see him like this.
God bless!
Chris

Chemo has stopped and hospice has been brought in. They give him six months or so.
