It is without a doubt that patterned paper is my favorite scrapbook supply. I own TONS of it. And, I am constantly buying more. I absolutely never create a page without it. NEVER. It is an element of scrapbook page design that is invaluable for adding interest, color, flair, and it can even reinforce your theme.
There are many different tricks to combining patterns effectively. Today we are going to focus on just one of them.
Your challenge is to create a page using a least 3 different patterned papers that all include one common color palette. The patterns may be different sizes and styles but using the one common color will be what unifies the design.
Here is my Sample:
Sting of Beauty (please note that the link will take you to my blog because I am having issues with the SCS gallery. It keeps telling me that file is too large and it's the same size I always upload. At this point I simply want to get this posted and get to bed. Sorry for any inconvenience.)
Now it's your turn...
This challenge is open to all types of scrappers whether you are traditional, hybrid, or digi. I always enjoy seeing how the digi Divas interpret my challenges.
Please use the keywords IFC77 when uploading your pages to the gallery.

Sounds like a cool challenge, Jennipher. I hope to get one done soon!!
Thanks Wendy! And thanks for being one of my loyal followers. I only have a handful and you all know who you are. I appreciate you so much.
For the last couple of challenges I've notice some new players and I want to say "thanks" also to them for playing along. I hope I can continue to inspire you to create. ;)

I love your challenges, Jenn. This one I plan to do in paper not digi, because I, like you and Patti, love paper and have more than I care to admit! lol
I made a card for my DGD and a friend this weekend and reacquainted myself with paper I'd forgotten I had! First cards I've made in many months! My hands are doing a bit better these days, so working with paper and scissors, etc. is getting easier! I still make a big mess, tho' and hate the clean-up and put away part!
I'm glad you ladies like this challenge and I can't wait to see what you create.
I finally had to lower the resolution in my photo to get it to upload. Really strange; I always upload at 300dpi; it's my standard resolution. I don't get it. Anyway here is my page in the SCS gallery:
Okay, got mine done!! I am SO glad to have played along! I haven't done a layout in so long! Thanks for the fun challenge. I used 3 different papers from Memory Box!
Good morning! and here is my page for the challenge.
What do my three papers have in common? Blue. The each has a pop of yellow and a bit of purple. This was fun to put together. Telling a Story

OK. I've done this but this is also for the Featured Scrapper ThurFS1014 in honor of Princessp1971. Patti does, however, do a much better job than I on mixing those patterned papers .
