Happy Monday everyone! Before I get into the details of this week's challenge I want to make sure everyone knows we are having a contest and where to find the details. HERE are the details of the contest. If you already know about the contest and have been playing along with us you can go to post #3 in the link above and found out your cumulative points. And, just one other thing-probably the most important: I decided that since the contest runs for a full 8 weeks and everyone has been putting so much effort into it that we would have more than one winner! So, there will be a Grand Prize Winner as well as 1st and 2nd runner up and all three winners will receive a scrapbooking prize package from me.:p
Now on to this weeks challenge....
I don't know about you but I have a ton of buttons that I purchased to use on my scrap pages. And, I just never seem to do anything with them anymore. One of my goals this year is to really use my stash instead of buying the coolest, newest thing out there. So, I turned to one of my favorite idea books "101 Things You Can Do With Your Scrapbook Supplies by Jennifer McGuire".
Jennifer offers several tips for using buttons and this week we are going to try button borders. Your Challenge:
Make a border with your buttons- try straight, circular, wavy, or zigzag designs. Add a bit of glitter under or around your button border to glam it up.
This challenge is worth 10 points but, you can earn more buy doing the following:
-Be the 1st person to come back and post a link to your completed challenge layout and earn 50 bonus points.
-Complete and upload your layout before 11:59PM EST Tuesday, January 13th and earn 20 points instead of 10.
-Add some hand-stitching to your layout and receive 25 bonus points. No bonus points will be given for digital stitches, stitch rub-ons, stamped stitches or any kind of faux stitching. You can use your sewing machine or a needle and thread.
-Use Sally's Sketch SBSC123(right)
and receive 10 bonus points.
-Use the attached card sketch to design you layout for 10 bonus points.
There is never a deadline to the IFC challenges however, for those playing the contest any layout uploaded after Sunday, January 18th will receive 5 points.
Now it's your turn.;) Please use the keywords IFC22 for all layouts submitted for this challenge. Be sure to come back and post a reply to this thread with a link to your layout in the SCS gallery. We like to leave you nice comments!
You can find all layouts submitted for this challenge HERE

Well I finished one. I altered Sally's sketch a little does that count? I had to dig these buttons out of my old button box. And that stitching.....I don't think I'll be doing that again, man was that time consuming, I kept ripping the paper. Meeting santa by taca410 at Splitcoaststampers

Good Morning Everyone...Here is my offering for this weeks challenge...This was fun! I haven't used my Cricut for anything but shapes in a while...
I hope this link works...if not, the LO is in my gallery.
Ladies,
You are on a roll. Can't wait to check out all the new pages you have uploaded. I've edited the 1st post to include another bonus points challenge. It is a card sketch from our SCS card sketch challenge. But, I think you could create a fun layout with it. So, use the attached card sketch to design your layout and receive 10 bonus points.
Don't forget, whether you use Sally's Sketch or the card sketch you can get different looks by rotating or flipping them. Have some fun!

I never knew that was your sister! How fun! Oh yeah, I would definitely give her a run for her money. Nothing like a little sibling rivalry!

Yes, Candy the stitching is time consuming. That's why it's worth 25 points and I will only give credit for hand-stitched or machine stitched. Between the button and the stitching I spent the better part of my afternoon working on my sample page. Your layout was fun and I love the stitched title. 55 points. ;)
