Arrow Photo Challenge #65 ~ 'Tis the Season 4... {12-27-09}

'Tis the season for Sharing! I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Christmas! As the year winds down I thought it would be a great time to go back and pick out a favorite photo or two from the past year to share with everyone. It doesn't have to be a new photo, I know we're all super busy with all the holidays celebrations with family and friends! Happy New Year!

Photo Challenge Rules:
~ Have FUN with this! There are no right or wrong photos.
~ Take as many pics as you want, share the few you like best.
~ Please share only current photos, taken after the challenge was issued.
~ We CANNOT upload our photos to the SCS galleries. You may upload them as an attachment or host them from your blog or any online photo hosting site. Just provide the direct link to the photo in your post and also make sure that it is not from a password protected album.
~ Just a reminder that we are a family-friendly site if you are sending others off this site to view photos in an album hosted elsewhere.
~ Please jump in and join us in the photo challenges at anytime!
~ Again - HAVE FUN!

Here are two of my favorites - The Biltmore Estate and frosted leaves from a snow in January.

OK - I guess that two photos that have done duty for months as wallpaper qualify as favourites, or they wouldn't have lasted. Both from the Botanic Gardens - the magnolia on Easter Sunday, the grasses in October.
I have too many photo of this little robin from when he was a fledgling on. But this was just last week, and I like it.

Bekah (AKA rdoak03) brought this forum to my attention since we are fellow scrappers here on SCS and I just happened across this thread. Thought I should continue checking it out since I just got a new Nikon Coolpix camera for christmas and I had a Canon. Still like the Canon I guess until I figure out the other. Here are 2 pics I took that I just love and since I've recently discovered the wonder of "cloning" in Photoshop Elements, I will eventually take out all the distracting stuff on both of them but I love the color that was captured on them both. The first is a sunset and the second a sunrise.

Lovely to see everybody's favourites. Micki, those are AMAZING. I love the morning glory one from Bermuda, too.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting a new camera for Christmas but my hubby ROCKS!!! So here are my favorites for the "year" with my new DSLR!

A windchime, lights along a picket fence and a silly goofing off pic with this tiny rocking horse and hubby trying to get on it!

These are some of my favorite pictures from 2009. I managed all of these in manual mode. I just love visiting Rockford, AL and as you can see there are lots of great photo ops!

I think that for me, fall is my favorite time to be outside taking pictures. All 3 of these are from the past two years in fall.
The first one is when we were on a wine tour this past fall. I didn't place the items in the photo, they just happened to be "there" and I thought it was a great shot.
The second was at a nice little tucked away bed and breakfast that we had a scrapbooking retreat at. Georgous little pond.
The third was me and my sisters' families' going pumpkin picking.
ahhhhhh, Autumn!

Hi Terry! Glad to see you here! I have a CoolPix, too. I've had it for over a year and STILL have stuff I need to figure out! For a point-and-shoot I think it does a pretty good job.

Here are a couple of pictures for this last summer at the lake--the duck is on the back of the boats swimming platform--and there is a lily pond a couple miles from the lake.
