Here's a sunset from my backyard through the trees and one at the dunes at the OBX.
Angie, you are going to get a lot of gorgeous photos for this one! I love your dunes shot and also Armadillo's colorful sunset! I'll be going up north to a cottage on Wednesday, so I think I'll get some great shots!
Great challenge, Angie! (I will tell you now it's just about KILLING ME not to post a previously taken photo, but I will keep the challenge and start shooting tonight!) Love your photos - the light and colors are AMAZING!
A virtually cloudless sky does not make the best sunset, but I went out this evening and got a couple of shots anyway. This was taken of the farm down the road. The first one shows the seagulls taking off.........the harvested field was practically white with them! Second is the sunset over the barn.
Love the sunset photos ladies. Angie and Armadillo...I just love the colours in your photos.
Ina... It's neat how you got the flock of birds flying through your photo.
Here are two of my sunset photos. The first one is taken in Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland and the second is taken at Sauble Beach, Ontario. Rocky Harbour Sunset.jpgSauble Sunset.jpg

Ina I love the silhouettes against that pure orange sky - breathtaking!
Armadillo - those clouds really add to the drama of the sky!
Connie - spectacular! Love the first one with the fill flash in the foreground-really a cool shot!
We've only had boring sunsets around here since the challenge was issued....boo hoo!
Wowzo - some gorgeous pictures here! I haven't been on in forever!!! I love sunsets - they're the best! This was over Puget Sound on Whidbey Island. =)

Forgot to add the picture! Note - I didn't edit it at all... which is pretty good for me! =) It's hard to take a good picture and not tweak it a little.

WOWZERS! GALS (& GUYS) these are all so fabulous! I have one from this past week to post - hubby surprised me and took me to the lake the other evening and we enjoyed a little picnic while the sun set. Haven't gotten the pics off my camera yet as we've had family in town the past few days. Oh and I'll post the next challenge tomorrow - we just got in from spending the last 12 hours over at my MIL's house! I'm BEAT!!!!!
Awesome photos everyone! I already posted sunset photos, but this past weekend we were at a cottage and took a special bicycle ride to watch the sunset over a bay on Lake Huron. Seeong as sunset photos are my favs., I took a lot of them. Here are my favourites.
My DH and I took a drive tonight to take sunset pictures. These are from just outside of town.
I don't know if my pictures are any good, but I sure am having a lot of fun with the challenges. (I'm new).

Oh my, what gorgeous pictures. Just catching up down here after being on holidays. Kept trying to get a photo of a ruined bridge at sunset, but it was what DH called PP (posers paradise), so after three nights I gave up and went for a sunrise photo instead. I'll post it when I get some sorting out done today.
Pansy, loved your DH's photo.
