Looking for places to sit this week! Not the view from a place per say (although depending on how you line up your shot you may get both) but we're looking for the actually physical chair, bench, stone, you name it... whatever you might rest your bum on! That's what should be in your pic! Now get out there and have some fun!

First shot is a lazy river at a hotel we recently stayed at. One could sit there all day! Second is a peaceful spot in a garden and last is the opposite of a hot seat! :P

Oh yes, I could spend all day in a lazy river for sure - but not long on that frozen bench!
There are some lovely seat sculptures in town, but I don't know if I'll get in there this week...Especially not with heavy showers as the dominant forecast, but I'm sure I can find something.
All right! I can do this one! Great shots Angie.........I love the two contrasting shots, the pool and the ice seat!
We spent the weekend at a friend's cottage up north, and although these photos were taken a day before the challenge was posted, they fit perfectly! First one was taken on the beach with our hostess included in the shot. Second was on the little dock, and the third one was taken on our way home. On the drive up there, we had picked out 5 different things we wanted to take photos of on the way home, but it was raining! However, the rain did let up for us to stop at the kayak place, with all those colorful kayaks!
There is a vacant house next door to ours; this bench was in their yard. Their front yard would be really pretty if it wasn't so run down. But it is fun to take pictures of!

I never did make it into town last week.
But some time over the weekend, it occurred to me that my piano stool, while old and worn, is most definitely somewhere to sit. As you can see, the piano is also old and worn. Well - it was secondhand when my mother bought it, and I can remember her playing and singing to me when I first moved out of the nursery the three of us shared into my own bedroom. So lets say it's been in our family at least 40 years, and has moved house several times. The piano stool is even older - it came from my grandmother. The raising and lowering screw no longer works, but it's the right height for me, so all is well...
That dock - oh my, I wish I were there. I've never even seen one that big. You should see the one on the lake where we honeymooned - microscopic in comparison.
