Photo challenge 199.....'Optical illusions'. I have really been falling down on posting the next photo challenge. Please forgive me. I've had a bit of a brain fog in regard to finding a new and exciting challenge. Then, this morning, on my walk, I noticed what I thought was a rabbit, and really turned out to be a dog excrement baggie, that the owner was going to pick up on her way back to the car with her pup. So, today's challenge will be to photograph things that from afar look different from what they really are. Does this make any sense?
Photo Challenge Rules:
~ Have FUN with this! There are no right or wrong photos.
~ Take as many pics as you want, share the few you like best.

No worries about falling down on the job, Ina - you know I am the same, too! Or else I have an idea and then can't find the time to get photos for it.
This sounds like fun, and oh yes, I know exactly what you're talking about. More than once I've been sure I've seen a bird only to find out it was something else. In fact, I know where there is something I often mistake for a heron...but whether I can get a photo depends on what the tides are like over the next couple of weeks!
