Goodness - yesterday here was go go go, so I'm only seeing this now when Christmas day is half over here. But I'll definitely find a few pictures. Somebody who knows me well gave me a Snoopy decoration for the tree , so that would be a good place to start!

Great photos Sabrina! I got a box of teas like that a couple of years ago! Love that Snoopy ornament.....how many of them do you have now? Some beautifully crafte cards on your mantle too, along with the commercial ones.
I totally forgot to come back and post my Christmas photos!
1) My 6 year old grandson with a vintage Santa in an old homestead building.
2) My 14 year old grandson as an elf!
3) We enjoyed the lights in downtown Georgetown, Texas.

Fabulous lights!
A Texan Christmas must have been quite different - and fun too, I am sure.

Actually, I only have two Snoopy ornaments, one of which I made myself!!

Great photos Sabrina. I should put tea on my Christmas wish list next year. I love trying different herbal flavors. Snoopy & the baby Woodstocks are adorable. And you got a lot of pretty cards. I like the bouquet of flowers!

It looks like you had a wonderful Texas visit Ina. Your 14 y/o grandson doesn't look all that happy to be an elf. LOL! Great job capturing the Christmas lights. That can be difficult.

Sabrina, are those tea leaves coming out of the containers? Ina, your grandson sure doesn't look at all happy being an elf

Well, for me, anymore, all holidays are just another day. So I will submit some photos from the Zoo Lights and Mormon Temple lights. The first two photos were taken at the Mormon Temple in Mesa and the other three at the Phoenix Zoo.

Lights are a huge part of Christmas!! I think my favourite of those is the camels and Wise Men, but the lion is absolutely amazing, and the grasshopper and toadstool made me smile. We certainly don't see anything on that spectacular scale, or so imaginative, here!

Audrey, You did a fantastic job of photographing those lights! I love them all.....maybe the lion best of all! We do have lots of light displays within driving distance from here.......but I didn't get out to see them this year.
Oh yes, my grandson, the elf, is 14 years old, so doesn't really like being photographed at all.

Audrey, those are beautiful photos! I think the loin is my favorite, too. My night photos don't come out that well, even with my new camera.

Ina, your night lights photo turned out well, also. I am glad you had such a good time and got home safely!
Happy New year!

I haven't been around in ages.. well at least not here on SCS. Have missed this forum so decided to come see what new challenges had been posted that I might be able to add to as I got a new camera for Christmas (gift to myself). Of course I got it the week before Christmas so I would know what I was doing by Christmas time! I got a Canon Rebel tsi3.

My son putting together his lego set on Christmas day. Christmas tree with presents and then Christmas Eve pjs/feet/tree. We had a huge snow storm (blizzard they called it) come through the day after Christmas so of course I had to go out and take pictures. One is during the "blizzard" and the other one is that night when it was all done.

Amber, looks like you are catching on with the new camera really well! My favourite shots are of the tree and the feet in front of the tree....so well done!
Although I don't envy you the blizzard, I do wish we had your snow. Well, I guess we did. but the mild temperatures on the weekend (53F and 48F degrees) and the rain took all our snow away, along with my snowman!

Amber - how lovely to see you. I've missed you - in fact, I even have a birthday card sitting ready to post next week because I spotted yours was coming up.
Great present, and fabulous photos. I love the tree one and the feet the best.
I can offer temperate weather to you, Armadillo, in exchange for some of that heat. We're down to frosty temperatures but hopefully we'll get away without snow. DH hates icy roads for the motorbike .
My BIL in Sydney got sunburnt just waiting at traffic lights one day with the heat they've been having the last couple of weeks.

Sabrina, thanks for the birthday card. It was the only one I received for a while! (got two other ones a little late) I have friends who just moved to Ireland beginning of this year (work related) but they aren't close to you (yes, I looked. lol).
