Default Photo Challenge 155 'Babies' {05/02/2012}

Photo challenge 155 'Babies'. You may have noticed that the challenges I post are a reflection of my life. It's spring, and there are new baby calves in my neighbour's barn, there are all sorts of babies in nature and now, also there will be a new baby in our family in the next week or so. Lets see the babies you can find, whether human or animal.

I like the little red rocking horse. Looks as though your daughter has received a lot of nice gifts; when is she due?

I took these four month old black bear cubs two weeks ago at a place called Bearizona. It's about a 2-1/2 hour drive from me just west of Flagstaff. I will be going back up there next week and I'll see what other babies they might have.

Grins, I can guess why babies are on your mind. I hope your daughter's arrives soon! I too like the little red rocker.
Those bear cubs are ADORABLE. I used to read the Mary Plain books when I was young, loved the stories about the bear cubs. I wish they would reprint them, but I think the ones I was getting in the seventies were already reprints, and they are crazy prizes when I see them for sale.
I'll see what I can come up with, but the weather has been so appalling that I haven't even been to the park or along the canal in the last couple of weeks.

Audrey, those bear cubs are adorable~! That's more than I even hoped to see when I posted this challenge!
My DD is due on May 7, so it could be very soon.

Congratulations, Ina, and to your daughter and son-in-law too. That's a good healthy weight, though I must say he looks tiny in the photo.

Sabrina, all newborns look tiny, when you haven't held one for a long time. I'm used to newborns and he is a healthy weight! But you should see my 6'5", 280 pound son-in-law holding him!
