anything! I'm really excited about this week's challenge! I've always found reflections very interesting and intriguing. Especially water reflections! But there are plenty of other things that you can find to capture a reflection on, it doesn't have to be on water. I just want you to keep your eyes open for some kind of a reflection whether it be on water, glass, ice or just something shiny! Get ready and get out there with your camera!
Photo Challenge Rules: ~ Have FUN with this! There are no right or wrong photos. ~ Take as many pics as you want, share the few you like best. ~ Please share only current photos, taken after the challenge was issued. ~ We CANNOT upload our photos to the SCS galleries. You may upload them as an attachment or host them from your blog or any online photo hosting site. Just provide the direct link to the photo in your post and also make sure that it is not from a password protected album. ~ Just a reminder that we are a family-friendly site if you are sending others off this site to view photos in an album hosted elsewhere. ~ You can jump in and start any of the photo challenges at anytime.. ~ Again - HAVE FUN!
This first pic was taken of the BB&T Tower reflecting on a pool of water downtown. I think its one of my top favorites that I've ever taken! The second pic is of my parents Christmas tree reflecting on their front door.
Angie these are fabulous, particularly the one of the BB&T building. I have got to start playing along in these . . . will be back later with a photo or link.
What a fun challenge! The wheels in my brain are turning!
Angie, and Connie, your photos both gorgeous!

Nice one Connie! Great challenge. I've been waiting for a "reflection" challenge. I'm going to do something I did in photography class in college. It's wacky and fun. Be back tomorrow!!!

We went to Disney this afternoon and I snapped this picture as we were walking out of the park.

My first challenge submission and I'm breaking the "new" rule. We've been stuck in family portrait mode for a month, but this is one of our favorites from our trip to Germany. This is in a town called Landsberg.
Oh, I almost forgot this one from Germany too. This is in Berlin. You can see my husband taking the picture. He appears 3 times in the middle of the photo in a white shirt with black camera backpack.

Very cool pic!

I took these reflection photos in the biggest reflector that is near me, the Mississippi river. In two of the photos you can see bald eagles flying. I love taking photos down by the river in January, I just get a little cold. This morning there were about 20 bald eagles flying over the river and catching fish.

Love these! I'm also very jealous that you have bald eagles in your area. I live half a mile from the Ohio River and have never seen a bald eagle here. We have herons, hawks, falcons, etc., but not eagles. Lucky you!
I know how lucky I am. I know that there are a lot of beautiful places to live. I have moved a lot and have seen God's beauty everywhere. There is something special about the Mississippi River though. There is so much wildlife along it. Especially in my area.

We just got home from a quick, family get-away to Lake Arrowhead (about a 2 hour drive from San Diego.) I had envisioned shooting some icicles for this challenge, but with a week of daytime temperatures in the 70's, I had to settle with putting snow on a tree branch, waiting for it to melt, THEN shooting the reflection in the water drop. Had fun with my macro lens though! (I think you can see me in the reflection as well...would this photo qualify as a self portrait too?? )
