Hope everyone has been enjoying a wonderful weekend! Ya'll ready for the holidays to be in full swing? I sure am! I'm feeling so much better, just have to kick the yucky cough and I'll be good as new! Oh and we finally got the new heater installed this past week! Yay for HEAT! Thanks for all the wonderful well wishes and birthday wishes! It's been a great one!
Now for this week's challenge- the power of three. I'm sure we've all heard before that things look best grouped in odd amounts, from flower arrangements to our card fronts. So for this challenge, we're going to focus on objects that are in groups of three in some way. It does not have to be the same 3 objects - just a group of 3. It can be anything from 3 children to 3 different ornaments! A group of 3 just needs to be the main focus of your shot. Feel free to arrange your 3 objects or go looking for them at random. And this is totally something that can be done in the comfort and warmth of your home - I know some of you have really been hit with the snow and cold and may not want to venture out!!!
Photo Challenge Rules: ~ Have FUN with this! There are no right or wrong photos. ~ Take as many pics as you want, share the few you like best. ~ Please share only current photos, taken after the challenge was issued. ~ We CANNOT upload our photos to the SCS galleries. You may upload them as an attachment or host them from your blog or any online photo hosting site. Just provide the direct link to the photo in your post and also make sure that it is not from a password protected album. ~ Just a reminder that we are a family-friendly site if you are sending others off this site to view photos in an album hosted elsewhere. ~ You can jump in and start any of the photo challenges at anytime.. ~ Again - HAVE FUN!
This will be fun... I'll try it, too - even though I'm LATE again!!!!!!

I thought that maybe three wise men would be good for this challenge!! I have several Nativity scenes, so I photographed the wise men from two of them. Then I soft-focused them on my photo editing program on my computer.
Thanks for looking - fun challenge, Angie!!

Hannah, I like your Nativity scene photos. I really like the second one.
I loved taking these 3 photos of 3. My first one was taken at my daughters' madrigal dinner. I edited it to make it in sepia. This was a photo of the instrumentalists. My daughter is in the middle playing her french horn. The second photo of 3 was taken at my sister in law's house. I loved the lights that were over her island in her kitchen. I edited it and made it black and white. The last photo was of my 2 daughters plus their 1 cousin. My daughters are the ones on the ends.
What a cool photo of the lights, Mari Lynne! I never would have thought to do that. I like how the picture of the band is in sepia. All of them are great!

Reason: Bad spelling!!
Just discovered these threads and it is so cool! Love love love those babies! All the shots are impressive. Wow folks!
Here is my 3. It is the lights hanging in the Hilton lobby. They facinated me in their unusual shape.
Thanks for these challenges - hope I get to keep playing alone.

These lights really do have an unusual shape. I haven't ever seen anything like them. Great job capturing them.
This isn't really what I had in mind because it is not the best picture, however, this is what I have. This is a picture of my dad, brother, and uncle. Along with my 3 nieces (yes, twins). So this is 3 men and 3 babies!
Both at the Cutting Arboretum. The second one is not the greatest picture but I wanted to show that they are Tiffany windows. All the windows in the main house were done by Tiffany along with some glass in 2 of the fireplaces. They are unbelieveable.
I have a submission for this challenge in my camera. It is of three things loved by my father: his granddaughter and two dogs. Will upload it when I can.

Winslow received two damaged pieces from the World Trade center when it was destroyed September 11, 2001 and created a small Remembrance Garden. They are 14 and 15 foot beams and the largest pieces given to any community in the nation.
