Default Photo challenge #127 Let's get personal!

Photo challenge # 127. Let's get personal. I'm late posting this week's challenge again! I'm finding it harder and harder to come up with a challenge. If any of you have any ideas, please let me know, or even if you would like to host a challenge for a week.
I've been having fun looking at personalized license plates. However, it's pretty hard to take a picture when you are driving! This challenge will not be limited to license plates though....if you have any other items that have your name or nickname on them, go ahead and post!

Photo Challenge Rules:
~ Have FUN with this! There are no right or wrong photos.
~ Take as many pics as you want, share the few you like best.
~ Please share only current photos, taken after the challenge was issued.
~ We CANNOT upload our photos to the SCS galleries. You may upload them as an attachment or host them from your blog or any online photo hosting site. Just provide the direct link to the photo in your post and also make sure that it is not from a password protected album.
~ Just a reminder that we are a family-friendly site if you are sending others off this site to view photos in an album hosted elsewhere.
~ You can jump in and start any of the photo challenges at anytime..
~ Again - HAVE FUN

My pictures: 1)While waiting at the border to get into the U.S. my friend pointed out this license plate to me.
2) This is actually the photo that motivated me to use this as a challenge......yay, Sabrina! (not a very good photo, I know, but we were traveling at 70 miles an hour and I took it through the window!
3) The plate of one of my colleagues at work. Funny thing is, I wouldn't really classify her as an especially 'warm' person!

Ha!!
We don't do personalised number plates here, (and no vanity plates at all) and since some time back in the eighties we switched to the year, the county and then the sequential number of registration, so you get what you get. I know in the UK some of the plates that spell something trade for quite high prices, though.
I'll be going for the second option - I'm sure I have a keyring somewhere.

I have an armadillo belt with my initials. The USNA 48 and SUNTERA are just up the street from me. OWL LVR belongs to the daughter of a friend of mine who collects owls. The last license plate, even though it isn't a vanity plate, I threw it in because it is so old- 1932. It belongs to the owl loves husband whose brother or someone found it in the desert long ago.

Cool belt Audrey....I love the armadillo buckle! I love the Arizona license plate design, with the scene at the bottom! Great to see such an old license plate too.

I like the belt too , especially the buckle, and I really like the old licence plate.
I'm not doing too well on this one. A past student of my dad's who was extended family once made us keyrings, it was a wooden heart cut in half like a jigsaw piece, with DH's name on one half and mine on the other. Well, I knew one half was long missing, but I didn't realise it was mine.
All I can find is this little pin which used to belong to my grandmother - I think I was given it when I was about ten or eleven. It's personalised on two counts -S for Sabrina, and a mermaid because in my case my name isn't from Charlie's Angels or Sabrina the Teenage Witch (too old for that ), but from Milton's poem about Sabrina Fair, a river goddess in the river Severn, usually depicted as a mermaid.
As the picture gives no sense of scale, it's about an inch tall.

The first photo is the license plate on my husbands truck. He spent 20 yrs in the Navy as a Navy Corpsman, and the rate is abbreviated HM..so hence NAVYHM. You can also see that he is a big 49'ers football fan!

Last Sunday we went to a car show in Palmer AK and these were 2 plates I saw there. The last one, on the white truck, is my favorite. I had a good laugh when I saw that! At least they're honest! And for those who arent into cars, the 454 on the Mustang is referring to the engine. Some serious power under that hood!

Alas! I have nothing with my name or initials on it except a clipboard made by a swap friend for a Madi Gras swap a couple years ago......but I will be on the look out for fun plates to photograph in the next couple days.

I like the way you can customise your plates so much - it must always be something to look out for. Here you're meant to stick quite strictly to the format, no fancy fonts or anything. And now that there are more and more speed cameras plus some automated tolls I think it's being enforced more strictly.
6 mpg - what size of a tank would you need to get any distance!!

I didn't take these two cars side by side; an associate of the the daughter of a friend of mine took the photo. An owl lover parked next to a bird hunter!
