Default Photo challenge #113~ Tracks {Feb. 8, 2011}

Photo challenge #113...making tracks. I had another challenge in mind, but didn't get out to take photos for it, so I've taken advantage of the abundant snow we have right now to search for tracks. It may be a little harder for some of you who don't have any snow, but I am sure you can find some railway tracks, horse tracks, tire tracks, etc. Have fun with this.
Photo Challenge Rules:
~ Have FUN with this! There are no right or wrong photos.
~ Take as many pics as you want, share the few you like best.
~ Please share only current photos, taken after the challenge was issued.
~ We CANNOT upload our photos to the SCS galleries. You may upload them as an attachment or host them from your blog or any online photo hosting site. Just provide the direct link to the photo in your post and also make sure that it is not from a password protected album.
~ Just a reminder that we are a family-friendly site if you are sending others off this site to view photos in an album hosted elsewhere.
~ You can jump in and start any of the photo challenges at anytime..
~ Again - HAVE FUN

My photos: these were all taken after the surprise snowfall of Saturday evening. A tire track on the road, a snowmobile track in a neighbour's field, and an animal track on my driveway.....I'm not sure whether it was a dog or perhaps a squirrel.

I actually took this photo yesterday afternoon, but thats close enough to the challenge, right?

These are moose tracks going through my front yard. We've had a mama moose and her baby in the neighborhood and sometime Sat evening they came through our front yard. I was so mad that I was home the whole day and missed seeing them come through!

No snow, thank goodness, but if all else fails I'll walk round the corner to the railway line .
I'll look forward to seeing the photos for this. I like the great texture in your first one, Ina, and the converging lines drawing the eye in in the second one. Animal tracks are always fun - we love seeing them on the canal when it freezes over.

I am dumb! I promised myself that if I didn't find any tracks in the park today I'd walk to the train station tomorrow. I never thought that I cross the tram tracks on the way to work. Doh!
Anyway, while they aren't snow it's been raining quite a bit here and I did get some tracks. I followed a trail that I've often seen horses on in the hope of finding traces of that, but no luck. The deer were further than I had time to go today, so it's just human tracks I have.

I'd say they're just someone's wet shoe or boot print! They're stepping stones through some grass if you don't want to walk the long way round.
