What is the building in the first one, Maria? It looks like some sort of visitor centre or something - and is that a boat on the roof?

Windsor must be a coastal town....right? What with the boat on the roof and sign. We have a Windsor in our province too......it's a three hour drive from here.
Your first photo, are all those signs to Aussie towns/cities, or does it show mileage to major cities of the world?
It's so great to see photos of other areas of the world!

These are two different town. The first on Berry on the NSW south coast is a small little historic town with to die for food and goodies. Very arts and craft town. The signs on the post point to all corners of the globe. Yes there is a boat on the roof representing the surf life saving groups. It is close to the coast.

The second is Windsor it is inland from Sydney (actually a suburb of Sydney) It is historic and again just lovely. It is very old and the building there are also made of sandstone. Very pretty all round.
I have added some more for you to see. THe Dish is actually the one used in the movie of the same name. The Dish. Our wildlife get their own sign too as does people riding horses and last but not least is our National Motor Museum at Bathurst, a great place to while away the hours and see historic racing cars etc.

I love the wildlife sign too - never seen anything like that before! Not sure that we have horse ones here either, just deer ones. The racing car museum sounds cool!

The albino redwood must be quite amazing!
I'm more of a big dog person, but your little dog is totally adorable. That photo reminded me of a song in one of the Peanuts videos - No Dogs Allowed.

Ann, you must have the best dressed dog in town! The 'no dog' photo is funny, but then again, I think maybe your dog doesn't know he is a dog....am I right?

Default Here's a nice retro feel

This theater has been redesigned with modern conveniences but an old-fashioned feel.

A real retro feel for sure - I'd call it fifties looking but I wouldn't know personally .
A great night photo, too!
