Default Photo Challenge #101 ~ Noughts and Crosses {11/16/2010}

Over here Noughts and Crosses is what we call Tic Tac Toe.
It was an idea I had for a challenge a while back, and I took several photos in July which I never used. When I was out for a walk yesterday I spotted several more and decided it was time to run with the idea.
Bonus points for an X or + and O in the same photo, but either on their own is also perfect.

Photo Challenge Rules:
~ Have FUN with this! There are no right or wrong photos.
~ Take as many pics as you want, share the few you like best.
~ Please share only current photos, taken after the challenge was issued.
~ We CANNOT upload our photos to the SCS galleries. You may upload them as an attachment or host them from your blog or any online photo hosting site. Just provide the direct link to the photo in your post and also make sure that it is not from a password protected album.
~ Just a reminder that we are a family-friendly site if you are sending others off this site to view photos in an album hosted elsewhere.
~ You can jump in and start any of the photo challenges at anytime..
~ Again - HAVE FUN

My photos from yesterday:
Lifebelt by the lake - not really all that deep! I've seen a heron standing in near the centre.

Photos from July
Church across the road from work, taken from outside our building
Part of an air con unit on one of the buildings in work (I think that's what it is, at any rate)
No parking sign near work.

Let's see what you can find!

Sabrina, now I know why these are called challenges! This one will really challenge me. Thanks.
Great photos as always, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Great shots ladies this is gonna be hard, the only thing that comes to mind is the RR crossing signs. I will have to try for a picture tomorrow...

It can't be that hard, is it? Not to find either a nought or a cross, surely, even if it's harder to find them together. But then, I've struggled with some challenges other people have found easy, so maybe it's swings and roundabouts.
Even an aerial view of a cup or a glass, or a plate would be an O!

O.K. Here are mine! I had a bad cold last week and didn't get out with my camera. The photos were taken this afternoon on a wet and dark day.....hence the poor quality! The first one is the bottom of a plastic flowerpot, that is still in my flowerbed. The second is the contraption at the end of my laundry line outside.

I hope you're feeling a bit better by now, Ina.
That second one I really like - what a lovely looking laundry-line attachment.
I've only just noticed that we joined SCS in the same month.

Well this was an interesting one. Really wasn't sure what I was going to take a picture of. What I had an idea for didn't pan out but then my son had to make something for Cub Scouts and wala! Their theme for the meeting was Knights and they were to make a shield and sword to bring. So here is my son with his, of course he wasn't thrilled to pose for me but hey it was the closest thing I had to an X! lol

I've been on the look for this and finally came across one today. It is the window of a church.
