I used to have Photo Explosion on my old Pc but when that died, so did the software I'm using what was installed on this pc and it works ok but doesn't do anything special. I was wondering if there's a tried and true photo editing software out there that's free, easy to use and something that can be downloaded easily?
I'm basically just interested in enhancing the photos of my cards for my blogs.

i love both picasa and GIMP...i really liked paint.net until it suddenly quit cooperating with my computers...i use GIMP for digi stamps mostly but it has some great tools for photos...and picasa is my go to for photo editing (mostly simple stuff in my case)
Pixlr is great too. You don't have to download anything, just go to the site and use it, then save to your computer. I love how easy it is to operate. I got PSE for a gift, but haven't tried it yet, since I'm so used to used to Pixlr.
