Default How to color on glossy photo prints

I want to add bits of color to black and white glossy prints that I already have or to intensify color on color glossy prints. Have done some research and need more information on what to use or to buy. This technique would be used on photos that I make into photo cards.

Is there an easy way or a way to use supplies that I might already have.

Any information and suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

I've done this with Distress Markers. It's a technique on page 41 of Tim Holtz’s A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol.3.

The Peerless watercolor sheets were originally designed for this technique, too.
